W., Roanoke, Virginia.^5,3,4 He was born on September 19, 1909 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3 He married Eunice Irene Board, daughter of John Milton Board and Amanda Melvina "Manda" Clower, on August 5, 1950 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3,4 Wesley Abraham Woolwine died on January 14, 1978 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 68.^3,4 He Wesley Abraham Woolwine, age 68, of 3933 Hershberger Rd., N.W., died Saturday in a Salem hospital. He was a retired mechanic from Dickerson GMC. Surviving are his wife. Mrs. Eunice Board Woolwine; two stepsons, Cletis E. Richard, Greensboro, N.C; Warren A. Richard, Springfield, Va; six grandchildren. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. on January 15, 1978.⁴

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Bell and Billy Hale; brothers, Richard Hale, Pete Hale, Howard Hale and a sister, Rebecca Cole. He is survived by a brother, John Hale; his children, Janice Blackwell, Samuel Hale, Krystal Hicks, Kenneth Tate and Robert Persinger; Seventeen Grandchildren; Two Great-Grandchildren; his best-friend, Claude Hall and many nieces & nephews.⁶ He was born on August 31, 1955 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4,5 He married Linda Sue Clemons on December 28, 1973 at Floyd Co., Virginia.⁴ Kenneth Carl Hale and Linda Sue Clemons were divorced on April 16, 1979 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ Kenneth Carl Hale married Tracey Gail Wofford on April 21, 1979 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ Kenneth Carl Hale and Tracey Gail Wofford were divorced on August 30, 1985 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁵ Kenneth Carl Hale died on December 24, 2022 at Virginia at age 67.⁶

     Rebecca Sue Hale was buried at Franklin Memorial Park, Virgil Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia.⁷ She was born on February 28, 1957 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,4,5 As of November 2, 1973,her married name was Clemons.⁴ She married David Wayne Clemons on November 2, 1973 at Floyd Co., Virginia.⁴ Rebecca Sue Hale and David Wayne Clemons were divorced on July 30, 1976 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁵ As of March 15, 1985,her married name was Cole.⁴ Rebecca Sue Hale married Richard Lee Cole Sr. on March 15, 1985 at Roanoke, Virginia.^4,7 Rebecca Sue Hale died on August 26, 2010 at Franklin Co., Virginia, at age 53.^8,7 She Rebecca Sue "Becky" Cole, 53, of Hardy, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was retired from Marriott Hotels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Cole. Survivors are son, Danny Cole, of Roanoke; four brothers, Billy, Howard, Kenneth, and John Hale, all of Roanoke; four grandchildren and very special friends, Tommy Kelley, Geremia and Frankie Kelley and B.J., Terri, and Tristen Lynch, all of Hardy.      Lois Ann Stafford was buried at Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.² Her Social Security Number was 228-56-8301.⁴ She was born on June 14, 1944 at Staffordsville, Giles Co., Virginia.^4,2 As of May 26, 1963,her married name was Poff.³ She married Marion Lee "Skooty" Poff, son of Roosevelt Vernon Poff and Ruth Caroline Patrick, on May 26, 1963 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 Lois Ann Stafford died on January 3, 2009 at Pulaski, Pulaski Co., Virginia, at age 64.^4,2 She Lois Ann Stafford Poff, 64, of Pulaski, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born June 14, 1944 at Staffordsville, Va., the daughter of the late Betty Marie Dalton and Dan Vest Stafford. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Wilma Stafford, a stepsister, Elva Ridpath and a stepbrother, Frank Bryant. She loved the Lord with all her heart and attended several local churches. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, M. L. (Skooty) Poff; one son, Richard Lee (Ricky) Poff, Baltimore, Md; one brother, Robert (Bobby) Stafford, Garner, N.C; two sisters, Willie S. Wilson, Victoria, Texas, Georgia S. Friedenstab, Galion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. James Alley officiating. Burial in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The visitation will be Tuesday after 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on January 4, 2009.²
