He was the husband of the late Dorothy Booher Elliott. Mr. Elliott was a retired employee of Liggett-Myers Tobacco Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served during World War II in the Pacific. Surviving are one son, David Elliott of Cumming, Ga; two grandchildren, Denise Young and Eli Elliott both of Cumming, Ga; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Weatherford of Kernersville; and five brothers, James Elliott of Sandston, Va., Charles Elliott of Culpepper, Va., Robert Elliott of Danville, Va., Howard Elliott of Trinity, Fla. and Eugene Elliott of San Antonio, Texas. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Clements Funeral Chapel. Graveside rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. in Schoolfield Cemetery in Danville, Va. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at - Clements Funeral Home in Durham. on December 7, 2003.⁴
