Tony was born on August 10, 1960, to the late Marvin and Marguerite Link. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Karen Link; children, Chris (Chelsea) Link, Matt (Jess) Link, and Joe Link; grandchildren, Carsyn and Caydence Link, Camdyn and Corbyn Bane, Avery Joe Link, and Emory Clark; brothers, Terry Link and Barry Link (Savannah); one sister, Cheri Smith (James); one uncle, Dee Link (Ina); two aunts, Loretta Gibson and Betty Wells (Ellis); and numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was a devoted and loving husband, father, and Papa. God blessed us with so many memories and we are so thankful. He worked for Coles Egg Farm where he was known as Bubba. He worked with a crew of high school kids moving pullets, where he met Karen. He drove a truck for 40 years starting with Rowe Furniture, Conway Southern Express, and XPO Logistics, where he retired in June of 2022. One of his greatest pleasures was coaching. He coached baseball, football, and basketball for 20 years for the Floyd County Rec Department. He had the greatest love for the kids. Special thanks to our dear friend Cheryl Whitlock Allen (Rec. Director) who believed in us all those years. He loved to fish and camp with our boys and grandkids. We planned a beach trip every summer. Tony took care of Paynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church for over 15 years. He loved Old Baptist and believed in Salvation by Grace. Special thanks to our wonderful neighbors, church family, family, and countless friends, and the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute in Salem, VA, and Good Samaritan Hospice.
