     Her married name was Elmore.¹ Ella Mae Alldredge married Stanley Craig Elmore, son of Letcher Craig Elmore and Verlie E. Maude Trenor.¹ Ella Mae Alldredge was born on April 2, 1932.¹ She died on January 2, 2016 at Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia, at age 83.¹ She Ella Mae Alldredge Elmore, 83, of Thaxton, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Oakwood Health & Rehab Center. She was born Saturday, April 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Lewis H. Alldredge and Susie Brown Alldredge. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Craig Elmore; and four brothers. She was retired from the Rubatex Corporation.She is survived by her son, Roger C. Elmore and wife, Vicki, of Thaxton; two grandsons, Timothy Elmore, Jeffrey Elmore; a granddaughter, Amy McRoberts; her sister, Sarah Watson; as well as three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, with the Rev. Kyle Dooley officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. and until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford. on January 7, 2016.¹

     Kathryn Elizabeth Spencer was born circa 1899 at Augusta Co., Virginia.¹ As of December 24, 1922,her married name was Poff.¹ She married Fred Clinton Poff, son of Greenville Tuggle "Green" Poff and Lizenie Alice Hale, on December 24, 1922 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2 Kathryn Elizabeth Spencer and Fred Clinton Poff were divorced on April 3, 1931 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹
