     Judith Ann "Judy" Bailey was buried at Montgomery Memorial Park, Route 60, London, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ She was born on September 8, 1942 at Montgomery, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.¹ As of April 16, 1960,her married name was Shawkey.² She married Charles Dennis Shawkey, son of Harry Shawkey and Maizie Evelyn Hughes, on April 16, 1960 at Handley, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Judith Ann "Judy" Bailey died on July 23, 2015 at West Virginia at age 72.¹ She Judith Ann Shawkey, 72, of Boomer, passed away July 23, 2015 after a two-year battle with lymphoma and complications of pneumonia. She was born Sept. 8, 1942 in Montgomery and was the daughter of the late James E. and Margaret Bobbitt Bailey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shawkey, and her niece, Amanda Poff. Judy was employed at City National Bank in Montgomery with 37 years of service. Surviving are her children, Rebecca Lynn Ballard and her husband, Donald L., of London and Charles Dennis Shawkey of Boomer; sister, Elizabeth Poff of Pratt; and grandchildren, Charles Dirk Ballard, Brittany Middleton, Cheyenne Danae Ballard, Derek Butterworth and Gianna Grace Shawkey. Judy was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who sacrificed everything for her family. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. on July 26, 2015.¹

     Harry Wayne Martin Harry Wayne Martin, 69, of Oak Hill, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at home. Born on July 23, 1949 at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Harry Clarence and Ida Shockey Martin. Harry was a US Marine veteran and served his country during the Vietnam War. He loved fishing, ginsenging, camping, dancing, and karaoke. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Patricia Ann Martin and Georgia Jones. Left to cherish his memory include his son, Brian Martin; three sisters, Dorothy Dilley, Linda (Johnny) Sears, and JoAnn Cox; and brother, Clarence Martin.⁴ He was buried at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.² He was born on July 23, 1949 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 He died on September 2, 2018 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 69.^2,4

     Carl Edward Wilson Treadway Carl Edward Treadway, 78, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020, at his home. He was born October 1, 1941, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Treadway and Evelyn Sarah (Riggleman) Treadway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Treadway; and one sister, Louise Schwertner. Carl served his country honorably in the United States Army and retired from the United Steelworkers after 35 years service. In his spare time, he loved the great outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked watching boxing. He is survived by a daughter, Carla Ervin of Oak Hill; one son, Wayne Treadway of Ashland, KY; mother of his children and companion, JoAnn Cox; a sister, Betty Watson of Cross Lanes, WV; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A graveside service and burial will be at the Bowcott Cemetery in Frazier Bottom, WV.      Georgia Vann Martin was buried at Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^3,4 Her married name was Jones.⁴ She married Unknown Jones.^4,3 Georgia Vann Martin was born on October 21, 1964 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 She died on June 12, 2006 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 41.^3,4 She Georgia Vann Martin Jones, 41, of Oak Hill, died Monday, June 12, 2006, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, following an extended illness. Born in Oak Hill, Oct. 21, 1964, she was the daughter of Ida Shockey Martin of Oak Hill, and the late Harry Martin. Georgia was an avid bingo player in Fayetteville, Oak Hill and Bradley. Survivors include a daughter, Brandy Renee Jones of Oak Hill; a grandson, Jacob Bowyer; two brothers, Clarence Lee Martin and Harry Wayne Martin, both of Oak Hill; three sisters, Joann Cox of Louisburg, N.C., Dorothy Dilley of Sheperdsville, Ky., and Linda Sears of Minden, and by a special niece, Carla Ervin. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville. on June 14, 2006.⁴

     Dorothy May Martin Dorothy May Dilley, age 62, of Bardstown, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Ms. Dilley was born in Oak Hill, West Virginia on October 24, 1959 to the late Harry Clarene Martin and Ida Shockey Martin. She was a passionate volunteer for CASA of Bardstown, the owner and president of D&D Utility Contractors and she was very involved in the lives of her beloved grandchildren. In addition to her parents, her sisters, Patricia Martin, Georgia Martin Jones; brother, Harry Wayne Martin and son-in-law, Robert Donaldson, Jr. preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Jennifer Dilley (Brandon Hays) and Jessica Donaldson (Keith Sykes); grandchildren, Tyler Teague, Hailey Donaldson, Robert Donaldson, III and Chloe Radford; great-grandchild, Aries Teague; her former husband (of 38 years), George Dilley; siblings, Clarence Martin (Carolyn), Linda Martin Sears (John) and JoAnn Martin Cox and a host of other dear family and friends.
