     Phyllis Ann Sheets was buried at Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale, Pocahontas Co., West Virginia.² She Mrs. Phyllis Ann Shinn beloved Mother, "Momo", Friend, and prayer warrior to all, age 90 of Cookeville and formerly of Fort Pierce, Fl, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Graveside services and interment were held at Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale, West Virginia. Phyllis was born April 22, 1930 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Lannis and Thelma Hemmings Sheets of Belle, West Virginia. She graduated from the former Dupont High School and resided in Belle until 1973 where she was a Cub Scout Den Mother, Sunday school teacher, and choir member at Judson Baptist Church. Phyllis' faithfulness to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was unparalleled. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed 'being on the go.' She was a people person who greeted everyone with a smile. She saw the best in everyone, and her family and many friends could always count on her prayers. She was loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed. She enjoyed attending sporting events to watch her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren compete, whatever the sport. She was their biggest fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Carl Frederick Shinn, Sr., daughter, Debbie Shinn; and by grandchildren, Wendy and Christy Shinn. She is survived by her adoring family, her daughter, Carla Lamb; sons, David and wife Karen Shinn, of Cookeville, Carl F. Shinn Jr. and Roger A. Shinn and wife Annette of Fort Pierce; grandchildren, Roger (Sandra), Jimmy, Thomas, Joseph, of Florida, Natalie (Jason), Jamie, Gary (Lora), Jessica (Jim), Tom (Courtney) and Logan, of Tennessee, and by great grandchildren, Sarah (Josh), Roger, Christopher (Shaina), of Florida, Jordon, Jonah, Jenna, Jade, Brett, Jaiden, Justus, Wonder, Noa, Ever, Eden, and a baby girl on the way, of Tennessee.² She was born on April 22, 1930 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² As of circa 1948,her married name was Shinn.³ She married Carl Frederick Shinn Sr. circa 1948.^2,3 Phyllis Ann Sheets died on December 26, 2020 at Cookeville, Putnam Co., Tennessee, at age 90.²

Pierce, FL, age 72, died October 25, 2000, in Vero Beach. Mr. Shinn enjoyed hunting fishing and golfing. He was a retired welder and pipefitter. He lived in Ft. Pierce for 27 years, coming from Belle, WV. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Shinn of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Roger A. Shinn, Sr. of Ft. Pierce, Carl Frederick Shinn, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, Lannis David Shinn of Cookeville, TN; a daughter, Carla Ann Lamb of Ft.      Annie Mae Goad was buried at Highland Memory Gardens, Rt. 11 between Dublin and Radford, Pulaski Co., Virginia.³ She was born on May 13, 1934 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.^2,3 As of October 5, 1951,her married name was McGhee.¹ She married Robert Franklin "Bobby" McGhee, son of Morgan Lee McGhee and Rose Emmaline "Rosie" Mills, on October 5, 1951 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.¹ Annie Mae Goad and Robert Franklin "Bobby" McGhee were divorced on May 6, 1968 at Radford, Virginia.² Annie Mae Goad died on August 11, 2023 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 89.³ She Annie Mae Goad McGhee Shockley, May 13, 1934 - August 11, 2023. Annie Mae Goad McGhee Shockley, 89, of Roanoke, Va., passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 11, 2023. Born on May 13, 1934, in Pulaski County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert Preston and Lala Mae Cox Goad. She was also predeceased by her sister, Alice Goad Parsell and her brother, Robert Lee Goad. Annie attended Dublin High School and New River Vocational Technical School. She worked many different jobs before going to work for Harris Mechanical Contractors in Radford where she retired in 1996 after 28 years of service. She worked many volunteer positions after retirement, including American Cancer Society Discovery Shop. Annie was a dedicated member of Crystal Spring Baptist Church. She was known for her cooking and particularly for her pound cake. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 30 years, Richard Lee Shockley; daughters, Barbara (EC) Pace and Sandra (Victor) Corchia; stepdaughters, Laurie (Dean) Lewis and Wendy (Chris) Busic; grandchildren, Preston (Shellie) McGhee, Chelsea (Chris) Burkey, Taylor (Jake) Sherman, Jordan (Abby) Lewis, Maddy Busic, and Michael Busic; and great-grandchildren, Emery McGhee and Lillie McGhee. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews she adored. The family would like to thank the dedicated personnel at Good Samaritan Hospice for all their excellent service. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. on August 16, 2023.³

In her retirement, she was an active volunteer doing suicide prevention and hotline counseling as well as financial counseling. Survivors include her son, Daniel Purvis and his wife, Melanie, of Stafford; her daughters, Kathleen Lynette Purvis, also of Stafford, Gail Jenean Rodman and her husband, Randolph, of Crownsville, MD and Rebecca Sue Evans, of Fredericksburg; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Franklin Purvis.
