Mrs. Burdette, the wife of Denny Burdette, was born in Kanawha county Feb. 23, 1935. She had been a lifelong resident of the county. She attended Sissonville high school. Surviving besides her husband and two-day-old daughter are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Elmore of Quick; five brothers, Herbert, John, James, Andrew and Willard Burdette, all at home; two sisters, Jo Ann and Arbutis Burdette, both at home; and her grandmother, Mrs. Molly Cantor of Martin's Branch. The body is at Long, Johhson and Fisher mortuary. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Advent Christian church at Grapevine near Sissonville with the Rev. Pat Berry officiating.
