     Mary Eva Fields Elmore Rites - Final rites for Mrs. Eva Elmore, 38, who died Saturday at her home in Wilson Hollow are scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Blue Creek Advent Christian Church. Rev. Estel Mundy will officiate and burial will be in the Hall cemetery at Blue Creek with the Albert Myers and son mortuary of Elkview in charge. Surviving are her husband, James Elmore, a son, Edward Elmore, her mother, Mrs. Luvina Elmore (sic), two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sheets and Mrs. Flora (sic) Sheets, both of Frame, and four brothers, Jarrett, Emmanuel, Thornton and Lee Fields, all of Walton.¹ She was buried at Hall Warner Cemetery, Blue Creek, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Her married name was Elmore.¹ She married James Everette Elmore, son of Jesse Marshall Elmore and Mary Evelyn Cobb.^1,2,3 Mary Eva Fields was born on April 16, 1899 at Kettle, Roane Co., West Virginia.² She died on April 2, 1938 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 38.^1,2

Elmore Sr., 70, of 3097 Biglerville Road, Biglerville, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at home. Born Dec. 9, 1934, in Charleston, W.Va., he was a son of the late James E. and Mary E. Fields Elmore. An Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Mr. Elmore was retired from Biglerville Home Center in Biglerville. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chambersburg and the Eagles in Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda M. Larch Elmore; and a son, James E. Elmore Jr. of Gettysburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Jerry W. Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery. on January 22, 2005.²

Born April 30, 1936, in Blue Creek, W.Va, she was Protestant by faith and had worked for more than 10 years at Heartland Fairfield Care Center as a nurses aide. Surviving are her husband, David Franks; a daughter, Deborah Hockman of Crooksville; two sons, David L. Franks of New Lexington and Eric M. Hockman of Crooksville; a sister, Virginia Mae Elmore Skidmore of Blanchester; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; an aunt, Edna V. Steele of Thornville; and a special cousin, Margaret Persiriger of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Elmer Stanley Persinger, who died in 1991. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 1, 1996, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 1996, at Bope-Thomas Funeral Home, 203 S. Columbus St, Somerset Services will be at 11 am. Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Pyles officiating. Burial will be in Drum's Cemetery. on June 30, 1996.³

     Elmer Stanley Persinger was buried at New Salem Cemetery, Auglaize Co., Ohio.³ He was born on August 24, 1957 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio.^2,3 He died on April 26, 1991 at Wilmington, Clinton Co., Ohio, at age 33.^3,2 He Services for Elmer Stanley Persinger, 33, of Wilmington, Ohio, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home, Thornville, with the Rev. Larry L. Harris officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery. Mr. Persinger died Friday in Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. He was born Aug. 24, 1957, in Columbus, to Shirley (Elmore) Persinger and the late Lewis Persinger. He was employed by Irwin Auger Bit Company of Wilmington; attended the Second Baptist Tabernacle; and was a Mason Shoe dealer. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Shirley and David Franks of Thornville; one sister, Deborah Hockman of Thornville; and one brother, David Lewis Franks of Thornville. on April 29, 1991.³

     Blanche Louise Elmore was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^2,3 Her Social Security Number was 236-74-2552.⁴ She Blanch Louise Elmore, 73, of Cross Lanes went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 11, 2013 after a short illness. She was a very loving and caring person. She loved children and enjoyed taking care of the children in her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles T. and Ollie Mae Elmore; brother, Joe Elmore. Blanch is survived by her brothers, Charles Elmore Jr., Jackie Elmore and John Elmore; sisters, Katherine Foster and Mary McCallister and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Gordon Killion officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park.² She was born on April 9, 1939 at West Virginia.^1,4 She died on March 11, 2013 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 73.^2,4

     John Marshall Elmore was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² He John Marshall Elmore, 65, of St. Albans passed away Friday, May 1, 2020. John was a 1974 graduate of South Charleston High School. He worked many places throughout his career including CAMC and the South Charleston Stamping Plant. John was born March 31, 1955 to the late Charles and Ollie Elmore. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Elmore. Surviving are his daughters, Kristina Vannoy (Jason) and Jennifer Bradley (Robert); grandchildren, Abigail Bradley, Seth Vannoy and Lilly Vannoy; sisters, Kathy Foster (Earl) and Mary McCallister; brother, Charles Elmore Jr. and many other extended family and friends. Entombment will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.² He married Sharon Smith.
