Hancock, died at 2:15 p.m. March 6, 2016, at his home. He was born July 1, 1957, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Richard and Juanita Ulin Cook. He married Joan Bowman on June 10, 1978. Nile was a 1975 graduate of Sigourney High School and graduated from Indian Hills Community College. He had worked as service manager and technician for Greiner Implement since 1979. He was a member of Davis St. Christian Church and was active in Neighborhood Watch. Surviving are his wife, Joan; daughters, Cheryl (Greg) McLuckie and Michelle (Niko) Gritzalis; three grandchildren, Zoe, Shawn and Penelope; three stepgrandchildren, Derrick, Alex and Ashley; his mother, Juanita Cook of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and a brother, Mark (Rose) Cook of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Cook. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Davis St. Christian Church with Rev. James H. Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery. on March 7, 2016.²
