     Charles Arlie "Chuck" Ballard Charles Arlie "Chuck" Ballard, Jr., son of Fayetta Carter Hall of Calico Rock and the late Arlie Ballard, was born November 27, 1942. He departed this life October 4, 2013 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Geneva "Jennie" Porter on February 1, 1991. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed at CertainTeed fiberglass factory in Kansas City, Kansas. He retired after 43 years of employment. He served in the United States Navy preceding the Vietnam War. He was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Geneva Ballard of the home; one son: Kevin West of the home; one daughter: Sharon Lictieg of Kearney, Missouri; his mother: Fayetta Hall of Calico Rock; two brothers: Patrick Ballard of Mountain Home and Michael Ballard of Sierra Vista, Arizona; one sister: Melody Killebrew of Dolph; three grandchildren: Korey West, Jesse West Trystan Lictieg; two great grandchildren: Aries West and Scarlette West; uncle and aunt: Jack and Norma Carter of Des Moines, Iowa; and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter: Patricia Ledford. Funeral service will be Monday, October 7 at 4:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Tom Campbell and Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will be at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be Monday, October 7 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Pallbearers: Willie Stanley, Tom Rushing, Ronnie McClellan, Korey West, Dickie Cantrell and Howard Jeffery. Honorary Pallbearers: Harold Ray Jeffery and J. W. Ralph David Jones Jr., 57, of Atlantic Beach, Florida (formerly of Roanoke) passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021. David was a very stern and particular man with a heart bigger than life itself. As a very hard-working man he worked every day of his life for his family. David made friends everywhere he went. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles everywhere. He loved his Harleys so much that he kept them in his living room. His wisdom, humor, advice, many many sayings and unconditional love will always be missed. Big Dave made such an impact on all of our hearts he could never be forgotten and will always be loved. He is survived by his mother "momma", Kala L. Heald; brother, Jason Jones; little sisters, Darlene Anderson and Michelle Griggs; daughter, Amber Nicole Jones-Brown (Baby Miles); son, David B. Jones "little David"; much loved grandbabies, Layla M. Jones, Isaiah S. Jones and Jeremiah D. Jones; God daughter, Caylieghs Hayes; best friends, Paul Fulcher and Curtis Hayes. The family will honor "Big David's" request that his body be cremated and that there be no formal funeral service. on January 2, 2022.¹
