(Peggy) Gilliam, 3221 Goodview Drive, died at 1 a.m. Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, after a brief illness. Born in Kingsport, he had lived here his entire life and attended Brookside Kindergarten. Barry would have attended Brookside Elementary School next school year. He was a member of Bloomingdale Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Miss Jeanna Gilliam and Miss Cindy Gilliam, both of Kingsport; maternal grandfather, Charles Bruce Cowden, Kingsport; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Doris O. Gilliam, Kingsport.Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. on June 20, 1983.1
