     Diana Lynn Elmore Diana Elmore Cook, 49, of Embrey Court, Concord, died Monday, November 2, 2020. She was the wife of William Dwayne Cook. Born in Princeton, WV, December 14, 1970, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Lee Elmore, Jessie Pritchett and her stepfather, Roy Linkous. Diana was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Johnston Enterprises in Prospect. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Bridget Holdren and husband, David and Shawn Elmore all of Princeton, WV; one nephew, Alex McConnell; two nieces, Jessica Holdren and Catelynn Holdren; four aunts, Brenda Smith of Princeton, WV, Donna Shuler and husband, Jr., of Pliny, WV, Gay Johnston and husband, Robert and Patty Shreve both of Prospect. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Lydia Caldwell. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.3 She was buried at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Appomattox, Appomattox Co., Virginia.3,4 She was born on December 14, 1970 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.3,4 As of April 10, 1999,her married name was Cook.2 She married William Dwayne Cook on April 10, 1999 at Appomattox Co., Virginia.1,2,3 Diana Lynn Elmore died on November 2, 2020 at Virginia at age 49.3,4

Scottsmoor, Fla. - Arminta Louise Belcher Elmore, 81, formerly of Bland, Virginia died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Parish Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Otis Jesse Belcher and Beulah Mae Winfrey Belcher. She was a retired caregiver and last attended Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Princeton, West Virginia. She had been a resident of Scottsmoor for two years, moving there from Bland, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Jackson Elmore; and a grandson, David Norton Lewis, Jr. Survivors, two daughters, Connie Sue Lewis (husband David) and Barbara Gail Bird (husband Lee); two sons, Donald Lee Elmore (wife Brenda) and Sam Robert Elmore (companion Deborah Haynes); four grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Mullins (husband Michael), Sarah Bird Woodring, Samatha Bird and Morgan Elmore; two brothers, Clarence Belcher (wife Helen) and Eugene Belcher (wife Jean); a sister, Glenna Brown; and one great-grandson, Edward Thomas Woodring.      Brenda Gaye Starling Brenda Gay Elmore, 66, of Princeton, died peacefully on Thursday evening, February 23, 2017 at her home. Brenda was a graduate of Oakvale High School, Class of 1968 where she was the valedictorian of her class. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and homemaker. While her health permitted, she enjoyed gardening; cooking and she especially loved her animals. Born May 28, 1950 at Princeton, she was the daughter of Gladys Louise Carter-Starling of Princeton and the late Milburn Houston Starling. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death two sisters, Linda Carol Sterling Fry and Joyce "Jodi" Darlene Starling Howell. Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her mother, her devoted husband of 48 years, Donald L. Elmore; daughter Jeri Lynn Elmore-Mullins & husband Michael Mullins; three siblings; David Starling, William “Bill” & wife Vicki Starling, Barbara Starling-McGinnis & husband John McGinnis all of Princeton; and a special aunt, Virginia White. The family has honored Brenda Gay’s request, her body has been cremated.2 She was born on May 28, 1950 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.1,2 As of November 16, 1968,her married name was Elmore.1 She married Donald Lee Elmore, son of Robert Jackson Elmore and Arminta Louise Belcher, on November 16, 1968 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.1,2 Brenda Gaye Starling died on February 23, 2017 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 66.2
