He is survived by his wife, Lucille Paitsel Huffman; two sons, Richard Huffman Jr., and Gary Huffman; three daughters, Patsy Ann Vandyke, Louella Patton and Barbara Ross; all of New Castle; three brothers, Alfred Huffman, Newport, Kenneth Huffman, New Castle, Oscar Huffman, Pearisburg; one sister, Elsie Caldwell, Newport; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.      Linda Ann Roop was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ She was born on November 23, 1946 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 As of May 1, 1964,her married name was Paitsel.¹ She married Kenneth James Paitsel Sr., son of James Edward Paitsel and Alva Norine Hutchinson, on May 1, 1964 at New Castle, Craig Co., Virginia.^1,3 Linda Ann Roop died on October 16, 2014 at Virginia at age 67.³ She Linda A. Paitsel, 67, of Salem, left this world on Thursday, October 16, 2014, to go and join her son and other loving family in Heaven. She was born in Salem, a daughter of the late Raymond and Frances Carroll Roop and had been an area resident all of her life. She was employed as a bookkeeper with Peacock Cleaners in Salem for over 35 years prior to retiring and enjoyed reading and working in her flower gardens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Kenneth J. Paitsel, Jr., who died in 2006, and a brother, Donnie Roop. She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Kenneth J. Paitsel Sr; a daughter, Lynn Paitsel Young and her husband Scott; two grandchildren, Krystal Paitsel and K.J. Paitsel and his fiance Kelly Dyson; two brothers, Gary and Tony Roop; her sister, Bonnie Jenkins and her husband Carl; seven sisters-in law and their families, and a very special friend, Amy Boggs, who was Kenneth Jr's fianc‚e and like a second daughter to Linda. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. on October 19, 2014.³

He was born on July 16, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, William Samuel Toler; and his daughter, Sherry Ann Toler. Daryl served in the Air Force National Guard and pursued his interests in aviation by earning his private pilot's license, which deepened his passion for flying. Daryl was a loving husband, as well as a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Toler; daughters, April Plumley and husband, Jeremy, of Oklahoma, and Madaline Toler, of Radford; granddaughters, Kalissa, Hayley, Kamrynn, and Sarina; mother, Rebecca Ann Gilbert; sisters, Gloria, Cynthia, Connie, and Nanet; and special friends, Paul Deaner Sr. and Oneta Toler. A Graveside Service will be held Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. on June 28, 2012.³

     Richard Lee Huffman Jr. After fighting a hard battle with cancer, Richard Lee Huffman, Jr. surrendered his life to the Lord on January 14, 2023. He was born January 25, 1954, to the late Lucille and Richard Huffman. His paternal grandparents were the late Minor and Maude Huffman and his maternal grandparents were the late Ed and Alva Paitsel. He is leaving behind, but for a short time, his wife and beloved soulmate Karen A. Huffman; his loving daughter, Adrienne (Brandy) Rock and husband, Brandon; his devoted grandsons, Noah LaPrad and Cayden Zysk; his special extended family of step-grandchildren, Kristin Greene, Dakota Rock, and Jadyn Rock; including four great-grandchildren, Adeline, Bentley, Brycen, and Bransyn. He is also survived by three precious sisters, Patsy VanDyke, Louella Patton, & Barbara Ross; and a wonderful brother, Gary Huffman; several aunts, uncles, numerous nieces & nephews, and a multitude of cousins and friends, all of which were very special to him in so many ways. Junior as he was known to most, never met a stranger. He enjoyed meeting and getting to know people and he had friends of all ages, young and old. He would do anything to help a friend and worked jobs alongside many who soon became special friends. He enjoyed many unforgettable hunting, fishing, and trapping adventures with his friends and family members. Junior was a unique kind of man with deep family values, hard work ethics, and was loyal and true to both. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but let us take solace and rejoice in the knowing that he is now in the Kingdom of Heaven. Graveside Services will be at Brickey Cemetery with Jim Looney officiating.⁴ He was buried at Brickey Cemetery (also known as Mt. View Cemetery), Abbott, Craig Co., Virginia.⁴ He was born on January 25, 1954 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,3,4 He married Karen Denise Abbott on June 8, 1974 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² Richard Lee Huffman Jr. died on January 14, 2023 at Virginia at age 68.⁴

Surviving is his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Huffman Ross; mother, Betty Ross; brother, Mickey (Judy) Ross; sisters, Angela White and Michele (Robert) Dillon; mother-in-law, Lucille Huffman; sisters-in-law, Patsy Vandyke and Louella Patton; brothers-in-law, Jr. (Karen) Huffman and Gary (Debbie) Huffman; also several nieces and nephews; and a very special companion, "Balley." Interment will follow at Huffman Memorial Park. on July 9, 2011.²
