Survivors include her, husband of 24 years, Charles R; two sons, Barry R. and Shaun C. of St. Petersburg; her parents, Denvy and Marie Conley, Orlando; a sister, Carol Laughlin, Greensboro, N.C; and a grandson, Zakery Pope, St. Petersburg. on June 29, 1989.3

He graduated from the University of Louisville, and received his graduate degree in Laboratory Medicine from the University of New York City. Dr. Shamoo had resided in Cheshire since 1970 and was employed with the City of Hartford, Public Health, as Director of Laboratory Medicine for ten years. Dr. Shamoo was president of the Hartford Municipal Employees Association for three years. Besides his wife of 40 years, he leaves a son, Yousif Shamoo, Ph.D. of Houston, TX and his wife, Lisa Chien Shamoo, M.D; two brothers, Adil Shamoo of Baltimore, MD and Farquok Shamoo of Huntington Beach, CA; three sisters, all of Baghdad, Iraq, Susi, Mary and Nagiba. on June 24, 2001.1
