Davis of Spencer; two sisters, Glenna J. Jarvis of Waskom, Texas, and Linda G. Blosser of Long Bottom, Ohio; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Hebron Memorial Cemetery, Spencer. on September 9, 2011.²

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Kay Sloan, and her maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Myrtle Miller. Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. on March 8, 2007.⁴

She was born October 7, 1941 at Peniel, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Myrtle Kelley Miller. She was a homemaker and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. Sue is survived by her children, Bud and Angie Harper of Reedy, West Virginia, Jim and Sandy Harper of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, and Shannon and Benji Parsons of Spencer; her grandchildren, Jessie (John Caldwell) Hewitt, Chad (Maddie) Harper, Chelsey (Jim McClain) Rhodes, Layne Epling, Aubrey Epling, Justin (Maddie) Harper, Jared Harper, Donnie (Amber) Sloan, and Jeffrey (Melissa) Sloan; and her great-grandchildren, Austin (Beth) Sloan, Hailey Sloan, Brock, Bria, and Brissa Hewitt, Bryan Harper, and Emma Sloan.
