Linda was a bus driver for more than 30 years in Monroe County. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Long, and one son, Billy Boothe. Left to cherish her memory is her one son, David Gerald and wife Gena of Lindside; two grandchildren, Josh and Tyler Boothe both of Lindside; three sisters, Sibby and husband Waverly Owney of Smithfield, Va., Peggy Marske of Lexington, N.C., and Brenda and husband Garland of Wikel; several nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at Red Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
