Clemmie Ann “Annie” Partin was buried at Sumter Cemetery, 700 W. Oakland Avenue, Sumter, Sumter Co., South Carolina.1,3 She Sumter, SC - Clemmie Ann Partin Epperly, age 83, beloved wife of the late Fredrick Lee Epperly, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Sumter. Born in Sumter on January 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Tommy James Partin and Ester Mae Brown Partin. She was “Annie” to those who knew and loved her. She had an outgoing personality and was a friend to all. Annie was a member of the Newcomers Club, Sumter Baptist Temple, and an avid party and duplicate bridge player. Surviving her is grandson, Landon Michael Brown of Keller, Texas, and a special cousin “Butch” Earl Shuler of California, who joking says “Annie cheated me at checkers” when they were growing up. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Marion Lee Brown and her brother, Thomas Leroy Partin. A private interment will be held in the Sumter Cemetery.1 She was born on January 4, 1938 at Sumter, Sumter Co., South Carolina; Her gravestone has a birth date of Jan 3, 1938.1,3 As of March, 1975,her married name was Epperly.4 She married Frederick Lee Epperly, son of Fred Henry Epperly and Mary Lillian Kincaid, in March, 1975 at Sumter Co., South Carolina.1,2,4 Clemmie Ann “Annie” Partin died on September 11, 2021 at Sumter, Sumter Co., South Carolina, at age 83.1
