     Edward Carlton Roark Edward C. "Bailey" Roark, 53, of 191 Amos Road, Martinsville, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at his home. He was born in Saltville on April 12, 1946, a son of Goldie Ellison Roark of Saltville and the late Worley Edward Roark. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation and a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Joyce Amos Roark of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Roy David (Pam) McBride of Martinsville, Mrs. Thomas A. (Tina) Gilman Sr. of Bassett and Mrs. Tracy L.      Judy Carol Amos Judy Carol Amos Hodges, 67, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1955, in Martinsville, to the late Oakley Amos and Frances Conner Amos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Amos, Ronald Amos and Bobby Amos. Judy attended Redemption Point Church, and had been employed in the textile industry. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, word searches, reading her Bible, watching television, spending time with her beloved family, and last but certainly not least, being around her pets which she loved dearly. She is survived by her former spouse, John M.
