John was an employee of Emerson Logging. He loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and his John Deere Tractors. He also loved his grandchildren, fur babies and friends and family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Haley Watson of the residence; one son, John William “Willie” Watson, III of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Kristen Watson and fiancé, Sam Loftis of Chatham and Courtney Hamlett and husband, Greg of Concord; one brother, Donald Watson and wife, Donna of Chatham; four sisters, Wanda Osborne and husband, Jeff of Chatham, Connie Dalton and husband, Gerald of Gretna, Sheila Pippin and husband, Larry of Gretna and Karen Doss and husband, Michael of Gretna; three grandchildren, Reagan Hamlett, SJ Loftis and Trace Hamlett; and nieces and nephews.
