David Michael Baker David Michael Baker, 69, of Miami, OK passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his home after a short illness. David was born on November 20, 1949, in Moscow, Idaho to Harold and Ruby (Young) Baker. He graduated high school in Oak Harbor, Washington. David married Robin (Branson) on January 15, 1972 at Bethany Christian Church in Miami. David and Robin resided in Miami throughout their marriage. David was a skilled tradesman who worked at several area businesses during his life, including Eagle-Picher, B.F. Goodrich, and Fields and Son Telecommunication. For the past 9 years he had worked for AFA Family Farm with his son-in-law, Aaron Alsbaugh. He was a member of Grace Church in Miami for the past 17 years. David was a Corvette enthusiast and enjoyed the last several years as a Corvette owner. Above all, his greatest love was his grandchildren. He was their #1 fan and always set aside his time and energy to be fully involved in whatever they were doing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Ruby Baker; and two sisters, Dolores Woodard and Beverly Baker. He is survived by his wife, Robin Baker of the home; two daughters, Courtney and husband Aaron Alsbaugh of Miami, Oklahoma, and Katherine and husband Tim Walker of Joplin, Missouri. One sister, Connie and husband John David Fields of Miami, Oklahoma; and 5 grandchildren, Reagan, Peyton, and Kinley Alsbaugh of Miami; and Phoenix and Tytan Walker of Joplin.2 He was born on November 20, 1949 at Moscow, Latah Co., Idaho.2 He married Robin Branson on January 15, 1972 at Miami, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma.2 David Michael Baker died on December 20, 2018 at Miami, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma, at age 69.2

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Baker, two sons, William Eugene Baker, Pittsburg, Calif. and Robert Harold Baker, Kansas City, Mo; four daughters, Cheryl Ann Monroe, Campbellsburg, Ky., Tanna Marie Innis, Tonganoxie, Kan., Regina Lynn Sadia, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Connie Sue Baker, of the home, his father, Charles C. Baker, Miami; a sister, Anita Strange, Midland, Texas; and 10 grandchildren. on June 25, 1988.4

Alice Elizabeth Novotny Alice Elizabeth Campbell, age 85, of Glendive, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive. Rite of Committal will be in the Dawson County Cemetery in Glendive. Alice was born on April 3, 1918 at her grandmothers home in Beach, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph B. and Emma A. (Shafer) Novotny. She was raised and educated in Wibaux County and received her early education at the Yates rural country school. As a young woman, she worked for various families taking care of their homes and children. She moved to Spokane in the early 1940's where she met and married Francis L. Campbell in 1946. Alice and her husband made their home in Spokane and Idaho until their divorce in 1954 when Alice returned to Beach. Alice worked as a kitchen's helper and operated a day care. She moved to Glendive in 1966 and was the assistant manager of the Steffen's Apartments where she worked for 15 years. Alice cared for her mother from 1981 until 1983 when she moved into the Prairie West Apartments where she provided cleaning services and resided until the time of her death. Alice was very involved with volunteer work at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care, Eastern Montana Veterans Home and the Attic. She was a member of the Glendive Medical Center Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters and the American Legion Auxiliary.
