Altizer, 52, of Salem went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 2, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Josephine Altizer. Mr. Altizer retired from Rick Woodson Honda after 23 years of service. He was a member of Hidden Valley Country Club and was a Virginia Tech Representative and avid Hokie fan. Surviving is his beloved wife of 26 years, Patricia D. Altizer; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Helen Deck, Roanoke; sister, Billie Jo Reid and husband, Tom, Sandyhook, Va; brothers, Ronnie Altizer, Wirtz, Reggie Altizer and wife, Diane, Boones Mill; sister Linda Corbett; nephew, Blake Corbett, Roanoke; brother-in-law Bill Deck, Jr. and wife, Margie, Blacksburg; and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park. on December 4, 2007.⁸

     Robert Bryan Corbitt Robert (Bob) Bryan Corbitt, 56, of Roanoke VA, born May 31, 1962 went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 26, 2018. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years Alicia, son Blake, parents Bill and Rita Corbitt, sister Yvette Burnett (David), nephews Lieutenant Jr. Grade Tyler Burnett and Bryce Burnett, sister in laws Angela and Brandy Ross, brother in law David Ross. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many special cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Gladys Boone, William and Catherine Corbitt, and nephew Chase Burnett. Bob was a loving husband, father, and son. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and was VP of Sales at Blue Stone Block in Roanoke. He was an avid hunter and conservationist. He was a long time member of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church.⁴ He was born on May 31, 1962 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,4,2,3 He married Linda Sue Deck, daughter of Dorcey William "Bill" Deck Sr. and Helen Betty Martin, on July 21, 1984 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Robert Bryan Corbitt and Linda Sue Deck were divorced on April 22, 1993 at Roanoke, Virginia.² Robert Bryan Corbitt died on June 26, 2018 at Virginia at age 56.⁴
