Sims Jr., 80, of Roanoke, died early Saturday morning, July 16, 2005. In February of 2000, he became the widower of Nancy Simmons Sims. Surviving are a brother, Calvin S. Sims, of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Judith Sessoms, of Chantilly and Linda Spidaliere, of Scottsville; and six grandchildren. During World War II, Mr. Sims served in the Pacific Theatre with the Army Air Corps and most recently retired from Fisher Auto Parts. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at Sherwood Burial Park. on July 17, 2005.3
