Conner of Copper Hill; also 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, February 25, 1974, 2 p.m., at Salem Church, Floyd County, with Elder Julius Bocock and the Rev. Frank Wimmer was officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.⁴ He was born on January 22, 1891 at Floyd Co., Virginia; On his WWI Draft Registration Card he lists his birth date as Jan 22, 1890.^9,1,5,6 He married Mamie Arabelle Conner, daughter of Asa L.
