     William Dennis Hall William Dennis Hall, 95, of 1513 Blair Loop Road, died Monday morning in The Memorial Hospital of Danville after a decline of several years. He had been in the hospital for 11 days. Born Nov. 14, 1895, in Florida, he was a son of Sam L. Hall and Gillie Palmer Hall. He spent his early life in Florida and Roanoke County and had lived in Danville since 1981. He was a retired carpenter. He was of the Lutheran faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War I. He was married to Doris Poff Hall, who predeceased him. He is survived by one son, Gene Hall; one brother, Roy Hall of Salem; one sister, Hazel Profitt of Bluefield, W.Va; also two grandchildren.
