She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William Raymond "Buck" and Chris Hall; a sister-in-law, Bernice Hall, widow of David Ellis "Cass" Hall of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews, including Jeanette Richardson of Bedford. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke, with Rev. Frank Feather officiating. She was a lifelong member of Woodside Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William Raymond "Buck" Hall; son, Timothy Charles "Tim" Hall. Follow this road 1/4 of a mile, and watch for cemetery sign on the right above the road, Pinoak, Mercer Co., West Virginia.² She Early Tuesday morning, Dorothy Alice Walker Poff, 90, of Princeton went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a long illness. Born June 22, 1929 at Pemberton, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge and Nannie Mae Tilley Walker. Dorothy was a graduate of Matoaka High School, Class of 1947.She was well known in Wyoming and Raleigh Counties for her gifts of Art and Crafts, having participated in the Appalachian Arts and Crafts festival for 35 years. Dorothy retired from the WV Extension Service in Wyoming County after many years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lee Poff and five siblings, Evelyn Gillespie, Dana Pettry, Imogene Wood, Roger Walker and Sheila Rae Payne. Those left to cherish her memory, her five devoted and loving children, Barbara Phlegar (Joe), Larry Poff (Sherry), Judy Laxton, Jackie Poff (Ruby) and Sandra Wallen (Andy); Nine grandchildren; Thirteen great-grandchildren; Twelve great-great-grandchildren; Three siblings, Ronald “Bernard” Walker (Nancy), Marlene Dillon, and Sylvia Kinzer (Daniel); Several nieces and nephews.      Paul Raymond Poff was buried at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹ He was born on May 8, 1941 at Concho, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹ He married Christine Grace Hall on August 31, 1964 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.² Paul Raymond Poff died on May 19, 2002 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 61.¹ He MINDEN - Paul Raymond Poff, 61, died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at the Beckley VA Medical Center, following a short illness. Born May 8, 1941 at Concho, he was the son of the late Raymond S. Poff and Louise Epperly Poff. Mr. Poff attended Rock Lick Community Church, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and he was a self-employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lewis. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Reagen of Virginia and Jeanette Adkins of Farmville, Va; two brothers, Richard Poff of Columbus, Ohio, and Donald "Donnie" Poff of Oak Hill; 10 sisters, Juanita Markum of Columbus, Polly Neely of Oak Hill, Drema Sue Lewis of Beaver, Elsie Ketchum of Belington, Linda Johnson of Oak Hill, Ruth Delozier of Columbus, Vicky Morris of Goldsboro, N.C., Barbara Myers of Columbus, Sherry Davis of Oak Hill and Joetta Armstrong of Oak Hill; and five grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. today at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Brother Arthur Dangerfield officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsamane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
