Born in Charleston Oct. 14, 1957, the son of the late William and Margaret Huffman. He was a 1975 graduate of East Bank High School. He was a landscaper from Terrasalis Garden Center in Malden and enjoyed fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a caring and giving person always willing to help people in need in his community. Surviving are his wife, Patsy, of Hernshaw; daughter, Tammy at home; stepdaughter, Laura Cunningham of Hernshaw; stepson, Scottie Snodgrass of Eskdale; grandchildren, Mary and Michael Corley of Hernshaw and Katie and Christopher Snodgrass of Eskdale; brothers, Harold Huffman of Coalburg, and Chuck Huffman of Chelyan; sisters, Jean and Ida, both of Indiana, and Mary of Chelyan. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Len's Creek Church of the Nazarene with Pastor David Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Marmet Cemetery.      Harold Russell Huffman was buried at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.³ He married Bonnie "Penny" Unknown.³ Harold Russell Huffman was born on January 16, 1948 at Kayford, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.³ He died on March 28, 2013 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 65.³ He Harold Russell Huffman, 65, of Acme, passed away March 28, 2013, in Hubbard Hospice House, after a long illness. Harold was born January 16, 1948, at Kayford and retired from DuPont. He served in the U.S. Airforce from 1966 to 1970 including the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Acme Pentecostal Church. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret and William Henry Huffman; and brother, Williiam Henry Huffman; and brother, William Franklin Huffman. Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Bonnie "Penny" Huffman; children, Scott Huffman (Sarah), Rebecca Smith (John) and Margaret Kenny (Kevin); stepsons, Roger Gray (Brandy) and Bill Gray (Joann); grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Katelyn, Aaron, Erica, Kevin Jr., Lizzie, Joanie, Savannah, Roger "Pickle", Clifford and Mika; sisters, Jean DeBoard, Ida Branch and Mary Wilkins; and brother, Charles Huffman. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Pryor Funeral Home, East bank with Pastor Herman Freeman officiating. He was a native of Charleston and had lived in Statesboro, Ga. for the last fifteen years. He was a retired pharmacist, and served in the United States Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Huffman of Statesboro, Ga; one daughter, Rebecca Huffman of Franklin, Ga; two sons, Dewey V. Huffman Jr. of Mary Ester, Fla., and Thomas H. Huffman of Statesboro, Ga; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers-in-law, Hugh Hardage of Statesboro, Ga., and Fred Hardage of Atlanta, Ga. Visitation for Mr. Huffman will be held Sunday, Oct. 10, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. Memorial graveside services for Mr. Huffman will be held at the Marietta City Cemetery at a later date. Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
