Funeral and burial rites will be conducted at Paxton cemetery near the Sandy Knob church in Roane county, with Rev. S. E. Lundy officiating. Also surviving Mr. Paxton are his widow, Margaret Paxton; one daughter, Miss Virgie Paxton; six other sons, I. W. and V. L. Paxton of Frame, M. W. Paxton of Walton, E. S. Paxton of Cuyhoga Falls, O., A. E. Paxton of Chelyan and H. R. Paxton of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Lucas of Island Branch and Mrs. Mollie White of Procious; two brothers, W. S. Paxton of Walton and E. D. Paxton of Frame, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. on September 23, 1939.7
