Earl is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy Kay Terry; son, Jeff Terry and Wife Brenda of Lake City, FL; In-Laws Marie Dickens of Rock Creek, WV; Ruth Woods and husband Bobby of Gallipolis, OH; Phyllis Dalton and husband Charles of OH; Howard Lee Cantley and wife Imogene of Medina, OH; Warren Cantley and wife Charlotte of Stow; Bonnie Williams of Arnett, WV; Diana Proudfoot and husband Ralph of Rock Creek, WV. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Melton Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Glen Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary after 5 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Eugene Terry, Buford Terry, Denver Terry, Ted Terry, Kendall Terry, Norris Terry, Earl Terry, and Harold Webb. on April 28, 1972.5

Survivors include grandsons, Frank Calandriello and wife Joan of Garfield, NJ, and Tim Carter and wife Laura of Glendale, AZ; granddaughter, Audrey Bomarito of Sparks, NV; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including Becky Harvey and husband Dale of Pacolet, SC, and Tim Woodruff and wife Vicki of Foster, WV; loving companion, Betty Solesby and her daughters Vicki Sandefur and Debra Cole. He was predeceased by his daughters, Dorothy Pelton and Marlene Calandriello. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel with Masonic Rites at 12:30 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Randall Lewis. Burial with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Cotten Jr. on August 20, 1976.3,4 Barbara Alice McVey died on November 11, 2017 at Midway, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 85.3,4 She Barbara Alice Cotten, 85 of Midway, WV passed away at home on Saturday November 11, 2017. Born April 7, 1932 in Pemberton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Vicie Ola (Bowman) McVey and Remus Haskell McVey. Barbara graduated from Stoco High School in 1949 and served as a member of the Womens Auxiliary at Midway First Church of God. She was Assistant VP for the Bank President at Raleigh County National Bank. In her spare time she loved to cook, play piano, crochet and sing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Verna Belle McVey; and brother, William Rey McVey. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John C. Cotten Jr; son, Roy A. DeWeese Jr. and wife Tracey; daughter, Diana L. (DeWeese) McKinney; sisters, Faye Bolen, Twila Haynes, Peggy Hart and Husband Ed; brother, Benny McVey; grandchildren, J.R. Stinnette, Kristyn Stinnette, Roy (Trae) DeWeese, Morgan R. DeWeese, Allison M. Swope, Jeremy S. Kuehn; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Waltemyer, Sydnie Madison Stinnette, Naeomey Stinnette, Ellie DeWeese, Brynlie Swope, Lauren Swope, Paxton DeWeese, Gabe Swope, Henry DeWeese. JR Stinnette, Mike Willett, Scott Bolen, Jay Borror, Skyler Johnson, Cody Johnson and Trae DeWeese will serve as pallbearers. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Midway First Church of God, Midway, WV. Burial will follow at McVey Cemetery. on November 15, 2017.3
