She enjoyed her grandchildren, working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to see family in West Virginia. Survivors include her children, George Beeman of Portland, Lowell Beeman of Island City, Tom Beeman of Tacoma, Bob Beeman of Island City and Kathy Spears of La Grande; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
