     His Social Security Number was 256-76-7087.³ Edward Lee "Eddie" Fair Sr. was buried at Chandler Cemetery, Calhoun, Gordon Co., Georgia.¹ He was born on September 6, 1947.^1,3 He died on February 23, 2006 at Calhoun, Gordon Co., Georgia, at age 58.^1,3 He Mr. Edward Lee Fair Sr., 58, of Calhoun died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006 at his home, following a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 6, 1947, son of Morris E. Fair and the late Blanche Greeson Fair. He was owner and operator of Fair’s Auto Service and Repair. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran attached to the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam as a medical corpsman. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Fleet Marina Force Combat Insignia, Bronze Star with Combat “V,” and Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion Post 47 and a member of the VFW, serving as commander during 1993-1994 and 1998-2002. After receiving his honorable discharge in 1972, he purchased the Gulf Station on South Wall Street in Calhoun at the age of 22. He was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Greeson Fair, and grandparents, Asberry and Lenor Fair and Lee and Lizzie Greeson. Survivors include his son, Edward Lee Fair Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Resaca; his daughter, Christa Lee Talley, of Calhoun; father, Morris E. Fair of Calhoun; a brother, Rocky Fair of Calhoun; two sisters, Sandra Holland of Calhoun and Angelea Fair Lance of Dalton; four grandchildren, Branson Coker, Edward Lee ”Trey” Fair III of Resaca, and Slade and Zoey Talley of Calhoun; uncles, Hansell Greeson and Billy Joe Greeson, both of Calhoun; an aunt, Margaret Cantrell of Calhoun; and cousins and other relatives. Funeral Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Calhoun First Baptist Church, with Dr. Bert Vaughn and the Rev. Darris Baker officiating. Interment in Chandler Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Naylor conducting the graveside service with military honors following. Music arranged by the Rev. Darris Baker and Randy Seabolt. Pallbearers Jimmy Cantrell, Mike Cantrell, Steve Cantrell, Ronnie Walden, Lamar Hicks, Emory McEntyre, Greg Greeson, Bobby Greeson, and Renia Williams. Honorary pallbearers Ron Cantrell, Streater Duncan, Resinald Seabolt, and members of the VFW and the American Legion Post 47. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday after 4 p.m. Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. on February 24, 2006.¹

     Keith Quinn was buried at Chandler Cemetery, Calhoun, Gordon Co., Georgia.¹ He was born on January 24, 1960 at Gordon Co., Georgia.¹ He died on January 21, 2005 at Rome, Floyd Co., Georgia, at age 44.¹ He Mr. Keith Quinn, 44, of the Pine Chapel community died early Friday morning, Jan. 21, 2005, at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome. He was born in Gordon County on Jan. 24, 1960, son of Jerry C. and Carol Graham Quinn. He was a 1978 graduate of Red Bud High School and was a Methodist. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pearl and Clyde Quinn and Mack Graham, and a stepgrandfather, Tom King. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Carol Quinn of Resaca; grandmother, Janie King of Rome; a daughter, Tiffany Quinn of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Kelly and Pam Quinn of Resaca; a nephew, Austin Quinn, and a niece, Monica Quinn, both of Resaca; and a special friend, Kathy Brock of Rome. Funeral was Sunday, Jan. 23, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Phillips officiating. Judith Arnold was in charge of music. Interment was in Chandler Cemetery, with the Rev. Brian Clark in charge of graveside rites. Pallbearers were Todd Causby, Kenny Jo Dixon, Barney Greeson, Bob Pack, Donald Pass, and Reed Bearden. Honorary pallbearers were Lamar Bell, Tony Tumlin, Corey Brock, Les Holbert, Kevin Garrison, and Tommy Davidson. Thomas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
