Private funeral services at the convenience of the family in care of Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment Valley View Memory Gardens. A proud veteran of WWII, Dale served as a Tall Gunner in 28 missions over Germany aboard a B-24 aircraft in the Army Air Corps. Dale is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma Jane (Miller) Hudnall; daughters and son-in-law, Vicki Breakiron of Brookville, and Melissa & Guy Russo of Amsterdam, NY; brothers and sisters-in-law, John & Edna Hudnall of Miamisburg, and Donald & Lorraine Hudnall of Englewood; sister & brother-in-law, Janet & Robert Mitchell of Union; grandchildren, Traci L. (Todd) Gasho, Tanya L. Breakiron, Allison Russo and Timothy Robert Russo; and a great-grandson, Nicholas Gasho. He was preceded in death by his sons Gregory Hudnall and Robert A. Hudnall; and a brother, Lewis Hudnall. A memorial service wlll be held on Sunday, December 28, 2003, at 2:30 P.M. at the Concord United Methodist Church (1123 S. Main St., Englewood) with Rev. Les Harris officiating. There will be a reception following the services at the Church. Interment was held at the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. on December 24, 2003.9

He worked in the photographers unit and was a tireless fundraiser for the Shriners Hospital for Children. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Eugene & Yvonne Hudnall of Brookville, daughter: Janie Elizabeth "Kate" Hudnall, of Fairborn, sisters-in-law: Norma Jane Hudnall of Clayton, and Edna Hudnall of Miamisburg, granddaughter: Dawn Hudnall, great granddaughter: Sydney Grace Hudnall, and many other family members and friends, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years: Lorraine E. (Fenton) Hudnall in 2005, parents: Arthur F. & Caroline Delphine (Kline) Hudnall, brothers: John, Lewis, and Robert Dale Hudnall, and a sister: Janet Mitchell. Masonic services will be held at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, followed immediately by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at the Concord United Methodist Church (1123 S. Main St., Englewood) with Rev. Dr. Tom Rand officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at the Concord Church Cemetery. Hudnall, and 2 brothers, Robert & William Chastain, Edna is survived by 1 daughter, Nancy & husband, Daniel Haas of Vandalia; step-son & step-daughter, Jerry & Judy Schell of Phillipsburg; step-daughter, Donna & husband, Donald Brandenburg of AZ; step-daughter, Peggy & husband, Larry DePew of IN; brother, Rev. Paul & wife, Jo Chastain of Arcanum; sister-in-law, June Chastain of W. Alexandria; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, her lifelong dear friend, Mary Ann Bechtol and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 8 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., with Rev. Brad Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of service. He was preceded in death by his father; Emerson Schell, mother; Esther Schell, step-father; John Hudnall and step-mother; Edna Hudnall. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Salem Church of God (6500 Southway Road, Clayton) with Pastor Wesley Duff officiating. Interment will follow the service at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery in Englewood. on February 24, 2012.2
