Wilkinson on May 12, 1956, in Webster Grove, Mo. and he passed away on May 3, 2004. Survivors include two sons, Arthur R. (Karen) Wilkinson of Bement and George Mark Wilkinson and partner Paul Ediger of Seattle, Wash. Granddaughters are Michelle (Rich) Gross of Bement and Tami (Brad) Wagers of Mount Zion. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Conner Gross, Lauren Gross, Griffin Wagers and Brody Wagers, as well as five nieces and four nephews. Mid was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son, Terry Lee Wilkinson, and two brothers, Dave Marker and John "June" Marker. Mid was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bement, Illinois, former benevolence treasurer at the church and the Bement Woman's Club. on February 28, 2009.2

Donahue died on May 8, 1918 at Pueblo, Pueblo Co., Colorado, at age 50.2 He George W. Donahue, 50 years old, of 901 North Market street, died on Wednesday at Pueblo, Colo., where he had undergone an operation for appendicitis. Funeral services probably will be held at the residence at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Mr. Donahue was born in Bates county, Mo., on May 29, 1867. He came to Champaign 37 years ago and was united in marriage with Miss Nettie Mae Smith on Nov. 22, 1888. He followed the occupation of laundryman with his brothers and they were in business in Champaign and Urbana for 15 years. The heat of the laundry affected his health and he went to Colorado to recuperate. He had been there once before. After five years he had to return to Colorado. He regained his health and planned to return home, but became afflicted with appendicitis. His daughter, Miss Dorothy, left on Tuesday to see him, but got only as far as Omaha. He is survived by the widow, five children, three brothers and one sister. The children are: Miss Bessie Weeks of Champaign, August G., Dorothy A., Dewey D. and Alvin W. of Urbana. His brothers are L. N. of Urbana, D. R. of Tipton, Ind., and O. P. of Alexandria, Ind. The sister is Mrs. Alice Ferguson of Springfield. on May 15, 1918.2

     Ottice George "Ottis" Donahue Ottis George Donahue, son of Mrs. George Donahue, of 1307 West Park street, Urbana, was killed by a street car in Cleveland, O., on Friday according to word received on Saturday. Only meager particulars of the accident have been received. His skull was crushed and several ribs fractured causing internal injuries. He died shortly after being taken to Charity hospital in Cleveland without becoming conscious. The body is expected to arrive in Urbana on Sunday morning and will be taken to the E. H. Renner funeral home. The funeral will be held there at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with interment following in the family lot in Woodland cemetery. The deceased was born in Urbana 37 years ago and was a son of Mr. And Mrs. George Donahue, pioneer residents of this city. He was a painter by occupation and spent the greater part of his time in traveling over the country. Several years ago he was in a serious railroad accident in Flint, Mich., and lost an arm, but it did not prove to be a handicap to him. His father died a number of years ago and besides his mother, who is critically ill, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Dewey Donahue, Urbana, Alvin Donahue, Champaign, Mrs. Bessie Weeks, Champaign, and Mrs. Dorothy Wigner, Council Bluffs, Ia.2 He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1803 N.
