Born in Brookville, PA, he was the only son of the late Turner and Anna Mae (Sloan) Beatty. Mr. Beatty was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He earned a B.S. in Education from Clarion State College. He majored in Chemistry and minored in Mathematics. Bob met his wife Barbara McCulloch Beatty at Pittsburgh Platt & Glass. They moved to Hartford Connecticut where Bob attended Engineering Design School conducted for Pratt and Whitney, after which he had a successful 35 year career designing aircraft engines. Bob enjoyed world traveling and visiting his daughters in Italy, Maui and Park City, Utah. He enjoyed living on his beautiful farm raising Christmas trees and horses in the 'Quiet Corner' of Connecticut. He made frequent visits back to his home town of Clarion, PA and often vacationed with his family in Cook's Forrest. He held strong liberal political views and loved sitting around a dinner table or campfire discussing politics and telling stories of his youth with a nice glass of wine. After retiring from Pratt & Whitney he was a volunteer E.M.T in the Woodstock Fire Department, and spent many hours walking his big yellow lab, Rusty - the sixth Beatty child. Bob is survived by his son, Thomas Beatty of Woodstock; his daughters, Katherine Repko (Dan, Jess and Robert Repko) of Park City, UT, Brenda Beatty Epifani (Luca and Marco Epifani)of Lecce, Italy, and Roberta Beatty and Lenny Yu (Brandon Yu) of Haiku, HI; his sister, Barbara Harrison of Pittsburg, PA. He was predeceased by his wife the late Barbara (McCulloch) Beatty and his son, the late Turner Ben Beatty. He will be dearly missed. on April 22, 2012.3

Beatty, 77, of Woodstock, Conn., died July 5, 2007, after a short illness. Born December 28, 1930, in Cheswick, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances McKane McCulloch. She was married to Robert T. Beatty, a former Clarion County resident and he survives. Mrs. Beatty was a resident of Woodstock, Conn. since 1969. She attend the Congregational Church of Eastford and the Evangelical Covenant Church. Mrs. Beatty operated the Red Ridge Farm, raising Comara horses. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed painting, drawing, and had a great interest in writing children’s books. She read her Bible daily. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Thomas Beatty and his wife, Joy, of Woodstock, Conn; Katherine Repko of Park City, Utah; Brenda J. Epifini and her husband, Roberto, of Lecce, Italy; Roberta S. Yu and her husband, Leonard, of Maui, Hawaii; grandchildren, Danny, Jessica and Robert Repko, Kyle and Erica Beatty, Lucas and Marko Epifini and Brandon Yu; a brother, Thomas McCulloch of Wheeling, W. Va; and a nephew, Patrick Beatty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Turner “Ben” Beatty and a sister, Jane Hensel. Visitation was held Sunday, July 8, 2007 , at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, Conn. Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Congregational Church of Eastford, 8 Church Street, Eastford, Conn. Internment was in the Barlow Cemetery, Woodstock, Conn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coral Ridge Ministries, P.O. Box 1920, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. 33302 on July 13, 2007.1

     Roy Grant Condron was buried at Miola Cemetery, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.5,4 He was born on June 23, 1878 at Danbury, Northern Ireland.2,3,4 He married Lottie Welhelmina Frantz, daughter of Lewis Frantz and Emeline Reed, circa 1906.1,4,3 Roy Grant Condron died on April 23, 1936 at Highland Township, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania, at age 57.3,4 He Roy G. Condron, one of the popular men of Clarion and Miola died at his home at Miola Saturday, April 23, at 4:15 p.m. from an attack of high blood pressure from which he had suffered for some few months. Mr. Condron was born in Danbury, Ireland, June 23, 1878, his mother died when he was about two years old and his father when he was about eight years old, leaving the young orphan to look out for himself. Roy took up training horses and came to Clarion one year as a trainer and driver. He has considerable success and was married to Miss Lottie W. Frantz, who now survives him at Miola. The funeral was held at his home on Sunday and was largely attended by his friends and acquaintances. Card of Thanks - I hereby wish to tender my thanks to the many family and friends who were so kind to my husband during his illness and at the time of his death. Also for the care they have given him when when possible. Mrs. R. G. Condron. on May 7, 1936.3

She was born Nov. 11, 1898, at Miola, a daughter of John P. and Junie Frontz Dolby. She was married in 1916 to William Grover Reaghart, who died in 1957. Mrs. Reaghart was a member of the Miola Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Dean Reaghart of Clarion RD 2; four sisters, Mrs. John (Faye) Bizzak of Smethport, Mrs. Raymond (Von) Dalton of Philadelphia, Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Swartzfager of Oil City and Mrs. Jesse (Sara) Seybert of Marienville; seven brothers, Scott and Orlie Dolby of Clarion RD 2, Roy Dolby of New Jersey, Carl Dolby of Clarion, Jess Dolby of Shippenville, Louis Dolby of Clarion RD and Milo Dolby of Shippenville RD; two grand children and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the Burns Funeral Home, Clarion, with the Rev. Sheldon Logan officiating. Interment was in the Miola Cemetery. on May 6, 1968.3

Five sisters, Mrs. Fay Bizzak, of Smethport; Mrs. Jeff Seibert, Marienville; Mrs. Jerry Swartzfeger, Rouseville; Mrs. Grover Reaghart, Strattanville, and Mrs. Raymond Doltan, Philadelphia, also survive along with seven brothers, Carl, Clarion; Jesse, Strattanville; Lou, Helen Furnace; Roy, Orlie, Milo, and Scott, all of Miola, and ten grandchildren. on March 10, 1956.4 She died on March 10, 1956 at Brookeville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania, at age 55.3,4

One son, Francis; one greatgrandson; six brothers, Mike, Louis, Carl, Jesse, Scott and James Dolby, two sisters, Iva Reighart Walters, and Mabel Rieahart, preceded him in death. Interment was in Miola Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church. on November 21, 1988.6

     Jess Fred Dolby was buried at Miola Cemetery, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,3 He was born on January 9, 1910 at Miola Township, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 He married Molly Jane "Dolly" Shew on January 12, 1937.1 Jess Fred Dolby died on September 21, 1969 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania, at age 59.1 He County man, 59, dies Sunday as a result of car-truck crash. Jess F. Dolby 59, of RD Shippenville, an employe of C. & K. Coal Company, Clarion, died in Hamot Hospital, Erie, at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, approximately 12 hours after suffering severe head injuries in a car-truck crash on Route 322, one mile east of Cranberry. Dolby, driver of the truck involved in the accident, received emergency treatment at Oil City Hospital following the acident and was then transfered to the Erie Hospital. Donald R. Keniston, 45, of Emlenton, dirver of the auto, and his wife, Jean L. 43, were treated at Oil City Hospital and later released. Investigating State Police officers said Dolby's 1969 Dodge truck was traveling east on Route 322 when it failed to negotiate a sharp curve, crossed the center line of the highway, striking the Keniston auto, a 1967 Ambassador, which was traveling west. Police said the truck then crossed the road again and slammed against a tree rolling onto its side. Funeral services for Mr. Dolby will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion with the Rev. Sheldon Logan, a Presbyterian minister and the Rev. William McCartney, pastor of the Clarion United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Miola Cemetery. Mr. Dolby was born January 9, 1910, at Miola, the son of John and June Fronce Dolby. He was maried January 12, 1937, to the former Molly Shew, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Gray of Clarion; two sons, William of RD1 Strattanville and Russ of RD 1 Shippenville; four sisters; Mrs. Jess (Sarah) Seybert of Marienville, Mrs. John (Faye) Bizzak of Smethport, Mrs. Raymond (Wyvonne) Dalton of philadelphia and Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Swartzfager of Oil City; six brothers, Orlie, Louis, Carl and Scott Dolby, all of Clarion, Milo of Shippenville and Roy Dolby of New Jersey and five grandchildren. on September 24, 1969.1
