Wednesday for viewing until the funeral service at 2 p. m. Rev. Farrell Evans, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Scotch Hill Cemetery. on January 31, 1961.¹

Born December 8, 1891, in Penn Run, Indiana County, he was the son of Seriah and Margaret Adams Sleppy. A veteran of World War 1, Mr. Sleppy was employed for many years as a miner. On November 8, 1920, he married Freda Smith, who survives, along with two sons, Albert of Leeper and Melvin of Cooksburg; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Szezecina and Mrs. Shirley Altman, both of Leeper; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Fahler of Wellington, Ohio, and Mrs. Blanche Smathers of Leeper, and one brother, James of Erie. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren. A brother, Blair; a sister, Mrs. Albert Chapman, and two grandchildren preceded Mr. Sleppy in death. Friends may call anytime after 2 pm today at the Moore-Borland Funeral Home, Leeper, where services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday with Rev. Farrell Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Scotch Hill Cemetery. on February 12, 1962.¹
