     William Edward "Pete" Dodd Jr. was buried at Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, Alleghany Co., Virginia.² He William Edward (Pete) Dodd, Jr., age 76, of 620 Roxbury Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Saturday August 4, 2012 at LewisGale - Alleghany Medical Center in Low Moor. He was born April 12, 1936 in Clifton Forge, a son of the late William Edward Dodd, Sr. and the late Mary Newcomb Dodd. He was a retired brakeman for CSX Transportation with over 47 years of service, a member of the Clifton Forge Moose Lodge, and a regular at the Bachelor's Dinner Table in the Cafeteria at LewisGale-Alleghany Medical Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Dodd Hall and his lifelong companion, Martha L. VanBuren. He is survived by a daughter, Anita Boone and husband, Rob of Covington; a step-daughter, Eugenia Nicely of Iron Gate; a step-son, Michael VanBuren, Sr. of Richmond; a sister, Mary Vess of Alleghany County; a granddaughter, Megan Boone of Covington; a grandson, Israel Boone of Roanoke; 3 step-grandsons, Michael VanBuren, Jr. and Joshua VanBuren of Williamsburg, and Travis Nicely of Iron Gate; a great-granddaughter, Reagan Paitsel, of Covington; a step-great-granddaughter, Harmony Van Buren of Williamsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, with the Reverend Mike Fleenor officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park in Low Moor. Pallbearers will be Harvey VanBuren, Ronald May, E.C.      Rose Frances Wetzel was buried at Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg, Shenandoah Co., Virginia.^3,1 She was born on May 26, 1906 at Shenandoah Co., Virginia.^3,4,1,2 As of December 17, 1981,her married name was Hancock.² She married Russell Edward Hancock, son of Otto Dillard "Ottie" "Ott" Hancock and Julia Ann Nolan, on December 17, 1981 at Edinburg, Shenandoah Co., Virginia.^1,2 Rose Frances Wetzel died on March 26, 2005 at Woodstock, Shenandoah Co., Virginia, at age 98.^3,4,1,5 She Rose F. Hancock, 98, of Pine Meadow Assisted Living, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the care facility in Woodstock. Mrs. Hancock was born May 26, 1906, in Shenandoah County, the daughter of the late John William and Mary Elizabeth Funkhouser Wetzel. She was a homemaker and member of Community Mission Church of the Brethren in Shenandoah County. She was the wife of the late Russell Hancock. Surviving are a daughter, Arlene L. Ramey of Luray; three brothers, Glenn J. Wetzel Sr. of Front Royal, Lloyd W. Wetzel and Floyd W. Wetzel, both of Woodstock; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, March 29, at Riverview Cemetery in Strasburg by the Rev. Howard Lutz. Arrangements by Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg. on March 31, 2005.¹

     Vernon Rodney "Rod" Hodge Jr. was buried at Monte Vista Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 25 Wades Gap Road, Callaway, Franklin Co., Virginia.^5,3 He Rod Hodge, 51, of N. Chesterfield and Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 13, 2015. He was a great man of integrity; to know him was to love him. First of all, he was a loving father, husband, son and friend. Rod was the owner of Dark Sun Surplus. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori; his son, Dillon Jeremiah; stepchildren, Marissa and Dalton; parents, Rodney and Sandra Hodge; brothers, Chris and Kenneth (Linda); sister, Kym; nephews, Steven, Jimmy and Kyle, Kenneth and Eric; and his good friend, Daniel Carter. A funeral ceremony will also be held at Monte Vista Church of the Brethren. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.⁵ He was born on February 11, 1964 at Richmond, Virginia.^3,4 He married Lori Ella Hodges, daughter of Marshall Lewis Hodges and Carol Faye Craighead, on May 5, 2007 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2 Vernon Rodney "Rod" Hodge Jr. died on July 13, 2015 at Virginia at age 51.^3,5

     Mary Unknown was buried at Desert Lawn Cemetery, 11251 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa, Riverside Co., California.¹ Her married name was Holt.¹ She married Chauncey Andrew "Jack" Holt, son of Robert Edward Lee Holt and Otha Etta Thornton.¹ Mary Unknown was born on July 21, 1910 at Oklahoma.¹ She died on October 29, 1998 at Redlands, San Bernardino Co., California, at age 88.¹

     Jesse Earl McAdams was buried at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 4161 East Admiral Place, Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.² His Social Security Number was 447-20-1950.⁵ He was born on May 28, 1885 at Trenton, Grundy Co., Missouri.^1,2,5,3,4 He married Maude Nordyke, daughter of Rev. James Riley Nordyke and Arabella R. Iddings, on April 10, 1912 at Mercer Co., Missouri.⁶ Jesse Earl McAdams died on March 12, 1965 at age 79.²

     Her Social Security Number was 511-28-2004.³ Mima Gertrude Piersall was buried at Marmaton Cemetery, Redfield, Bourbon Co., Kansas.⁴ She was born on August 15, 1916 at Winchester, Clark Co., Kentucky.^1,3 As of September 9, 1933,her married name was Nordyke.² She married Frederick Ercel Nordyke, son of Gordon Nordyke and Eva Louise Glassey, on September 9, 1933 at Ellis Co., Oklahoma.² Mima Gertrude Piersall died in September, 1983 at Devon, Bourbon Co., Kansas, at age 67.^1,3

     James Eugene "Jimmy Gean" Nordyke was buried at Marmaton Cemetery, Redfield, Bourbon Co., Kansas.^3,1 He was born on March 3, 1941 at Bourbon Co., Kansas.^1,2 He James Eugene Nordyke, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Ercel Nordyke, passed away at 7:30 this morning at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Piersall of eight miles west of Fort Scott. James Eugene was born on March 3, 1941. Besides his parents, he leaves a sister, Louise, age 6 years; a brother, Howard G. Nordyke, age 4 years; and all of his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Howard Piersall, at whose home he passed away and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nordyke, of Puyollup, Washington. The body was taken to the Cheney funeral home. The funeral plans are incomplete. on February 11, 1942.² He died on February 11, 1942 at Bourbon Co., Kansas.^1,2

Dildine, 66, of 943 13th Street S.E., Puyallup, a retired self-employed carpenter, died Saturday. Born in Palouse, Mr. Dildine came to Puyallup 40 years ago from Potlatch, Idaho. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Puyallup. He also was a member of the Washington State Nursery Association and the Rhododendron Society. He also was active in the Boy Scouts, and had been awarded the Silver Beaver. Survivors include his wife, Mildred, a son, Gary of Puyallup; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Garnett and Mrs. Lloyd (Marlene) Powell, both of Puyallup and Donald of Gig Harbor; four sisters, Una Stockwell of Potlalch, Lois Gantz of Colfax, Patricia Bergendahl of Windor, Connecticut, and Marjorie Brown of Tacoma; and two grandchildren. Hill Funeral Home, Puyallup, is in charge. on December 14, 1981.⁶

     Eva A. Harrison was buried at Woodbine Cemetery, 2323 9th Street SW, Puyallup, Pierce Co., Washington.⁴ Her Social Security Number was 536-16-6047.³ She was born on June 29, 1921 at Vermillion, Alberta, Canada.^4,3 As of November 24, 1938,her married name was Nordyke.² She married Olen James "Oland" Nordyke, son of Gordon Nordyke and Eva Louise Glassey, on November 24, 1938 at Pierce Co., Washington.^1,2 Eva A. Harrison died on November 5, 1977 at Pacific, King Co., Washington, at age 56.^4,1,5 She Mrs. Olen J. (Eve H.) Nordyke of 129 Butte Ave., Pacific, a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday. She was 56. Born in Alberta, Mrs. Nordyke had lived in the area for 25 years. Besides her husband, survivors include four sons, Harvey J. and Douglas R., both of Auburn, Wayne of Federal Way and Darrell E. of Sumner; a daughter, Miss Janis A. Nordyke of the home; two brothers, Harold R. Harrison and Richard A. Harrison, both of Tacoma; a sister, Mrs. Mona Glass of Anchorage; her mother, Mrs. Hazel Harrison of Tacoma, and 10 grand children. Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup, is in charge. on November 7, 1977.¹
