Coroner Benjamin Rocap said death was due to a heart attack. There are no local survivors. Funeral services will be held from the Christy Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. on July 11, 1960.5

He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge there. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Giles Argubright, two daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) McDaniel and Mrs. Walter (Marietta) Jones of Memphis, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday in Memphis with burial in the National Cemetery there. on March 3, 1977.5

Chief Guner's Mate 1-C Sam W. Argubright Jr., 47, was the nephew of Mrs. R. L. Hendrickson of 620 Eagle Bend Rd. and Mrs. Joe E. Hannah of 324 Marshall St. Argubright died April 1 and was buried in Memphis. His father, S. W. Argubright Sr.,operated a meat market in Clinton in the old Park Hotel building. Argubright attended Clinton Elementary and the family left Clinton in the late 1930's. Although Argubright could have retired with a medical disability, he had stayed in the Navy some 20 years. He was a Navy instructor in Boston, spent six years at Cape Kennedy and was in his fourth year at Hunstville when he came down with the fatal illness. Argubright was in 17 of the 18 Navy engagements during World War II. At his funeral, it was said,"In this time of draft card burning,it is a contrast for one to spend 20 of his 47 years defending his country". In addition to his parents, who now live in Memphis, Argubright leaves his wife, the former Jennie Harris of Boston, and two sisters, Mrs. Walter Jones and Mrs. Johnny McDaniels, both of Memphis. on April 9, 1970.2

     Robert Barry McDaniel Robert “Barry” McDaniel, 70, of rural Arrow Rock, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. At Barry’s request, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Barry was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Memphis, Tenn., and was the son of the late Robert Johnnie McDaniel and Helen Argubright McDaniel. Barry lived in the Memphis, Tenn., area most of his life where he was a 1964 graduate of Central High School, and worked for Memphis Light, Gas, and Water for 25 years. On June 26, 1989, he married Susan Reed, who survives of the home. After his retirement, Barry and Susan moved to rural Arrow Rock. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and was known as the “Guzzi Godfather,” having ridden Moto Guzzi motorcycles most of his life. He was a lifetime member of the Moto Guzzi Club and Freedom of the Road Riders Local 12. In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by one brother, Mike McDaniel and wife Marcy of Hendersonville, Tenn; one sister, Patricia McDaniel and husband Jeff Simmons of Boonville; one stepdaughter, Charisse Gay and husband Ron of Brighton, Tenn; and their children, Alyssa and Rob.2 He was born on January 21, 1947 at Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee.2 He married Susan Reed on June 26, 1989.2 Robert Barry McDaniel died on November 11, 2017 at Columbia, Boone Co., Missouri, at age 70.2
