Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 18, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Radford with the Rev. Cecil Frazier land the Rev. Ron Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. on February 17, 1996.⁴

Born June 11, 1924 in Pulaski Co., she was the daughter of the late Florida Gray Saul and John T. Saul. She was a member of the Morgans Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lee Sutphin; and 3 sons, Ronald Lee Sutphin, Earnest Ray Sutphin, and Franklin Lee Sutphin. She is survived by 1 son; Robert Wayne Sutphin of Chesapeake: 1 daughter; Shirley King & her husband Kenneth of Dublin. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and special friends and caregivers; Bob Ervine &Virginia McGlothlin of Dublin. A graveside service will be held Friday June 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. View United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. John Grimm officiating. The family will receive friends briefly following the service, at the cemetery. on June 23, 2005.³

She was a member of the Fairlawn Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Saul, a son, Eddie Saul, a granddaughter, Lisa King, a son-in-law, Ed Dobbins, her mother, father and five brothers. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mary Lee Saul of New River; five daughters and sons-in-law, Shelvia and Buddy King of Virginia Beach, Clara and Walt Neishell of Loris, SC., Marie Dobbins and Bonnie and Jerry Thornton, both of Dublin, and Sherry and Otey Mitchell of New River; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Kirby Beasley of Christiansburg; and two sisters, Geraldine Arnold of Riner and Maxine Conley of Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Jim Angle officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. on August 27, 2004.¹

Barton, 82, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 28, 2001, at her home following a long illness. Born Feb 20, 1919, in Sylvatus, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clive and Sarah Saul Morris. Mrs. Barton was a homemaker and a member of Sinks Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Keith "Jim" Barton; a daughter and son-in-law, Imogene and Dayton Morgan; and a sister, Thelma Ridpath. Survivors include her husband, Lewis Mason Barton; two daughters, Debbie Bostic and her husband, Dave, of Sinks Grove and Molly Wiseman and her husband, Dave, of Salem, Va; five brothers, Paul Morris of Pulaski, Va., J.T. Morris of Elliston, Va., Swanson and Marvin Morris, both of Christiansburg, Va., and Doug Morris of North Carolina; three sisters, Edith Phillips of Shawsville, Va., Dorothy Simpkins of Radford, Va., and Judy Brown of Meridian, Miss; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Service will 11 a.m. Monday at Groves Funeral Home, Union, with Pastor Paul Broyles officiating. Burial will follow in Shockley Cemetery, Sylvatus, Va. on September 30, 2001.⁷
