     Eva Pearl Mitchell was born on July 8, 1930 at Sylvatus, Carroll Co., Virginia.^3,4 As of circa 1948,her married name was Wadsworth.³ She married Rev. Eldon Donald Wadsworth circa 1948.^1,3 Eva Pearl Mitchell died on September 5, 2012 at Virginia at age 82.^4,3 She Eva Mitchell Wadsworth, 82, former resident of Roanoke, peacefully slipped out of this world and moved into her Heavenly home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Death was due to complications of leukemia. Mrs. Wadsworth was born July 8, 1930, in Sylvatus/ Hillsville. She was the seventh child born to James Arthur and Lucinda Greer Mitchell. She was valedictorian of her high school class, and graduated from Radford College/Virginia Tech with a BS degree with majors in math and social studies. She taught math in high school in Stuart and Hillsville and coached the girl's basketball team in Stuart. She taught Bible classes in her church for over 50 years. For some years she served as treasurer of Kannapolis Bible Teaching Association. She was married to The Reverend Eldon Donald Wadsworth over 54 years. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mark Allen Wadsworth, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Dale Greer Wadsworth, of Amesbury, Mass; three grandchildren, Victoria Grace, Taylor Hope, and Deanna Joy Wadsworth, all of Amesbury, Mass; two sisters, Mary Mitchell Arrington and Georgia Mitchell Jennings, both of Hillsville; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at North Lakeland Presbyterian Church, Lakeland, Fla., and at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church, Hillsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Lakeland Presbyterian Church, Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church or Florida Presbyterian Homes. on September 11, 2012.³
