Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Tammy Dobbins of Charlotte , N.C., and Jeffrey and Diana Dobbins of Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and J. Wayne Vaughan of Galax; five grandchildren, Lisa Mountjoy, Zachary Dobbins, Meagan Vaughan, Sarah Kennedy and Tyler Dobbins; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Ingram and Brittany Smith; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Lee Saul of New River; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelvia and Buddy King of Virginia Beach, Clara Neishell of Dublin, Bonnie and Jerry Thornton of Dublin, and Sherry and Otey Mitchell of New River; and a special friend, Lon Adams. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God with the Rev. Jim Angle officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Healing in His Wings Ministry, Box 24, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. on April 21, 2006.2

Weiss; two sisters, Lura M. Braafhart and husband Gerry of Sun City, Fla. and Myrtle E. Price of Blacksburg, Va; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends Henry and Elva Respess of Chester. Weiss, 77, of Chester, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014. Born in Radford, Va., she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Iva Ferrell Linkous. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hampton O. Weiss; and grandson, Matthew Blair Ours. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah W. Ours and her husband, Butch; son, Frankie W. Weiss and his wife, Teresa; four grandchildren, Whitney A. Logan and her husband, Chris, Andrew B. Ours, Katie E. Weiss, and Kellie S. Weiss; great-grandson, Brayden M. Carroll; two brothers, James F. Linkous Jr., and his friend, Linda, and John W. Linkous and his wife, Helen. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Enon Baptist Church, 13607 N. Enon Church Road, Chester, VA 23836. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. on June 15, 2014.3

She was born in Radford, Va. on February 4, 1959. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Ray Price. She was an avid participant in the annual Special Olympics and was especially competitive in the softball throw, the standing broad jump, and the 50 meter dashes. Anne was a champion in the true spirit of the Special Olympics. She is survived by her mother Myrtle Weiss Price, of Blacksburg; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Ray and Vicky Price, of Blacksburg, Michael and Karen Price, of Christiansburg, David Wayne and Kay Price, of Blacksburg; two nieces, Stacey Price, of Christiansburg, Tiffany Price, of Blacksburg; two nephews, Kevin Price, of Blacksburg, Travis Price, of Christiansburg; special friends, Robert Wingo, Scott Johnson, Barry Seavers, Steve Mick, Uncle Doug Smith; and lots of other friends and family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff and the Carilion Hospice Services of the New River Valley, especially Claudia Jones-Lazama and good friend, Brenda Allen, for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the New Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Linda Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. on March 12, 2003.7
