Goshen Avenue, Visalia, Tulare Co., California.⁴ Her married name was Contrestano.² She married Michael Contrestano.² Madgel Arlene "Madge" Chunn was born on February 11, 1931 at Exeter, Tulare Co., California.^5,2,4 As of January 15, 1955,her married name was Grider.³ She married Vernon Walter Grider, son of Walter H. Grider and Veda Riley, on January 15, 1955 at Fresno Co., California.³ Madgel Arlene "Madge" Chunn and Vernon Walter Grider were divorced in August, 1972 at Fresno Co., California.¹ Madgel Arlene "Madge" Chunn died on January 10, 2009 at Visalia, Tulare Co., California, at age 77.^2,5,4 She Madge A. Contrestano born in Exeter, CA passed away on January 10, 2009 in Visalia, CA at the age of 77 years. Madge grew up in Exeter where she graduated from High School. She worked as a Claims Processor for Travelers Insurance for over 20 years before retirement. Madge lived in Fresno a short time before returning to the Visalia area. Her husband, Michael Contrestano preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Garrett Grider and Steve Contrestano; grandchildren, Jerrad Grider, Justin Grider, Jordan Grider, Matt Contrestano, and Melissa Contrestano. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Rosie Chunn and brother, Erland Chunn. Private services are being held. He was born on January 2, 1962, in Salem, Va., to George Billy Epperly and the late Maudie Edwards Epperly. He was a member of the Snow Creek Fire and Rescue Squad in Franklin, Va., and a member of Union Gospel Baptist Church in Germanton. He leaves behind his loving wife of three years, Angela Epperly; two stepsons, Joshua and Benjamin Money; brother, Brian Epperly; sister, Terry Ford, both of Salem, Va; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Union Gospel Baptist Church with a visitation one hour before service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Gospel Baptist Church, 6063 NC Hwy 8 South, Germanton, NC 27019 or to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. He will be greatly missed by many. on April 26, 2014.²

     Heather Amanda Brubaker Heather Amanda Brubaker Custer, beloved wife, mother, daughter was born November 2, 1977 and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was a cherished member of the Callaway Community and will be missed by the Pre-K class at Callaway Elementary School. Amanda was known for her kind loving heart. Her unwavering support for her family, friends and her passion for anything and everything, she put her mind to. She was a dedicated educator at the Callaway Elementary School, participating in the PTO and volunteering with the Good News Club. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Jerry Custer; special cousin, Jennifer Thomas; grandparents, Riley and Junie Brubaker and Corbin and Clara (John) Hatcher. Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan Custer; her sons, Brandon Custer, Logan Custer and Grayson Custer who were her life; her loving parents, Cline and Mary Lee Brubaker; her loving mother-in-law, Tricia Custer; and her special loving sisters, Emily Messenger and Becky Loan. Our dear sweet Amanda, we love you and will always miss you!! Interment will follow in the Custer Family Cemetery.¹ She was buried at Custer Cemetery, Franklin Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on November 2, 1977 at Staunton, Augusta Co., Virginia.^1,3 As of January 24, 1997,her married name was Custer.² She married Jonathan Kevin Custer, son of Jerry Oliver Custer and Patrica Ann Bernard, on January 24, 1997 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2 Heather Amanda Brubaker died on October 2, 2024 at Virginia at age 46.¹
