     Lois Elizabeth Collins Lois Elizabeth Poff, September 2, 1945 - November 3, 2022. Our beloved mother, Lois Elizabeth Poff left this world on November 3rd, 2022 at the age of 77. Lois passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side in Roanoke, Virginia. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Henry Poff, and her parents Curtis and Lucy Collins. Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda and Roger Hodges Jr; her son, James Curtis Poff; her grandchildren, Alex and Avery Poff; her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Audrey Collins; her beloved dog, Nugget, and numerous "grand dogs". All who knew Lois will remember her as a sassy woman who loved her family, her dogs, and her garden and always had a homemade cake on the table and a flower in her hair!1 She was born on September 2, 1945 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,3 As of February, 1962,her married name was Poff.2 She married James Henry Poff, son of James Roscoe Poff and Lillian James Howard, in February, 1962 at Key West, Monroe Co., Florida.4,1,2 Lois Elizabeth Collins died on November 3, 2022 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 77.1

     Alfred Jacob "P. D." DeWease Jr. was born on January 30, 1954 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.3,4 He married Monnie Louise Horne on April 7, 1973 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 Alfred Jacob "P. D." DeWease Jr. and Monnie Louise Horne were divorced on March 26, 1985 at Craig Co., Virginia.5 Alfred Jacob "P. D." DeWease Jr. married Anita Darlene Ferguson on October 11, 1986 at Craig Co., Virginia.4 Alfred Jacob "P. D." DeWease Jr. married Margaret Jane Jamison on May 28, 2005 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 Alfred Jacob "P. D." DeWease Jr. died on November 2, 2016 at Virginia at age 62.2 He Alfred Jacob "PD" Dewease Jr., 62, of Craig County, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Jacob Dewease Sr and Geneva Martha Dewease; and son, Christopher Jacob Dewease. PD was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, and was a skilled carpenter. He was a 40 year resident of Craig County. He loved his dogs and his truck, which he was especially proud of. Family left to cherish his memory include his wife, Margaret Dewease; stepdaughters, Michelle Delby and husband Jason and Marie Jamison; stepgrandchildren, Nathan and Garett Delby and Maraya Gray; and special friend, Ed Sarver. A memorial service to honor PD's life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123). on November 3, 2016.2

     Wiley Edward Eagle was buried at Fort Hill Memorial Park, 5196 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia.1,2 He Wiley Edward Eagle, 73, of Lynchburg died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Appomattox on November 21, 1935 he was a son of the late David William Eagle and Lula Godsey Eagle and was the husband of Elsie Virginia Eagle. Wiley was the owner and operator of the Texas Inn for a number of years. He also attended Tree of Life Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Wiley Edward Eagle, Jr. and his wife, Shari of Evington. A daughter, Tracie Lynn Eagle of Lynchburg. Four step sons, Glen Dewease and his wife, Karen of Forest, Patrick W. Morris and Tim L. Morris both of Lynchburg and John E. Morris and his wife, kharon of Raleigh. A step daughter, Ginny L. Coleman and her husband, Jeff of Forest. Six grandchildren, six step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Two brothers, Lyle Eagle and Junior Eagle both of Appomattox. A sister, Alice Sale of Lynchburg. Wiley was preceded in death by four brothers, David W. Eagle, Andrew Eagle, Alfred Eagle and Bobbie Eagle and by six sisters, Louise Phelps, Mary Bohannon, Edna Bettis, Elizabeth Jones, Dorothy Eagle and Shirley Eagle. A Celebration of Wiley's Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM tonight at the funeral home.2
