White Jr., passed away Saturday evening, January 29, at his home, 8214 W. Grand River avenue, Brighton, following a sudden attack of illness. Born August 14, 1923 in Floyd county, Virginia, he was the son of Milford L. and Agnes Graham White. In Brighton on April 19, 1946, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Caldwell of this city. Mr. White was employed for the past six months, including Saturday the day he departed this life, at the local Ford garage. He was a member of the Howell American Legion. Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; one infant daughter; his father, Milford L. White Sr., of San Francisco, Calif; three sisters, Elizabeth, Thay and Okie; one brother, Dean of Grand Ledge. Burial was in the West Howell cemetery with services at the grave under the auspices of the Brighton American Legion. on February 2, 1949.⁶

Born April 8, 1928, she was the daughter of Fred and Frances Dykehouse. She was married to Dean White. She moved from Howell in 1952 and was the first cook at Canteen Corporation at Ford Motor Company. Survivors include her husband; a son, James D; a daughter, Leona K. of Northwille; two grandchildren; her mother of Muskegon; three sisters, Fritz, Harriette and Lillian; and three brothers, John, Bill and Bob Dykehouse. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery. on December 18, 1985.³

Services were held at the Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale on June 17. George was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Springfield, Mo., to Dewey and Amy Stevens. He moved to Iowa Falls in 1950, and was married to Kathleen Graham, daughter of Ellen and Lawrence Graham of Iowa Falls on July 7, 1951. George managed General Gas Corporation in Iowa Falls until the company was sold to Ferrellgas and he moved to Arizona in 1978. He was an active member of the Iowa Falls community serving on the Ellsworth College Board of Trustees, was the first president of the Iowa Falls Senior Citizen Housing and was instrumental in the development and construction of the Timberview Apartments. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus and held various offices in the Iowa Propane Gas Association. At the time of his death he was a tax consultant. George is survived by his wife, Kathleen; two sons, Mark of Scottsdale, Timothy and his wife, Laurel, of South Pasadena, Calif., and Joseph and wife, Rebecca, of Littleton, Colo; two daughters, Mary Pendergast and husband, John, of Culver City, Calif., and Anne Halversen and her husband, Douglas, of Scottsdale; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Boyd of Springfield, Mo., and Virginia Johnson and husband, Max , of Iowa Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Dewey Stevens.
