She worked for Louise Durham cafeteria for 37 years and was a wonderful cook and cake designer. Carolyn loved and enjoyed going camping and fishing with husband Steve. Above all she loved and treasured her family, more than herself. She was a loving wife, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by: Husband: Stephen P. He was born on Friday, February 15, 1953 to Robert Ward and Mary Williams Copelin in Lubbock, Texas. Stephen was a man of remarkable character, known for his friendly and selfless nature. Always willing to lend a hand, he was a constant source of support and comfort to anyone in need. Stephen had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and laugh with those around him. His life was enriched by a wealth of wisdom and experience, which he shared generously with others. A talented mechanic, he found joy in fishing, hunting, and working with his hands. Stephen dedicated many years of his life to Walmart before his well-earned retirement. Above all, he was immensely proud of his family and cherished every moment spent with them. Stephen's legacy of kindness, talent, and wisdom will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Holland Copelin; his son, Tim Copelin; and two brothers, Huey Wayne Copelin and Robert Lee Copelin.
