Mrs. Biesecker was born Nov. 8, 1952, in Indianapolis, Ind. She came to Alaska in 1954 with her family, and they homesteaded in Cooper Landing. She graduated from Kenai Central High School in 1970 and was valedictorian of her class when she graduated from Kenai Peninsula Community College in 1985. She was employed by the Log Cabin Gift Shop, Kenai Peninsula Borough and Enstar Natural Gas. She also helped her husband, Ed, start their business. Mrs. Biesecker was active for many years in the Tugi Club and Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, for which she was a past president. Her family wrote: ''The loves of her life were her family, friends and special companions who assisted, helped and loved her through the years. Candy faithfully anticipated and waited for the first tulips to pop through the frozen ground. Tulips, along with the return of the swallows, were her joys of spring.'' Mrs. Biesecker was preceded in death by her brother Tom.
She is survived by her husband, Ed; son, Trevor, and his fiance, Treena Schmidt; parents, John and Dorthy Ingram; brother, John; stepdaughters, Terri and Lori, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Alaska Shrine Temple, Travel Fund, 1930 E. Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage 99508 Arrangement were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel. on April 9, 2002.2

A graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park. on February 22, 2006.2

He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Lin Caracofe, and a brother-in-law, Carl Fergusen. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in New Hope. on March 8, 2019.4
