     Candace Joanne "Candy" Ingram was buried at Cooper Landing Cemetery, Cooper Landing, Kenai-Cook Inlet Borough, Alaska.² Her married name was Biesecker.² She married Ed Biesecker.² Candace Joanne "Candy" Ingram was born on November 8, 1952 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana; The SSDI has a birth date of Nov 8, 1951.^2,3 She died on April 6, 2002 at Sterling, Kenai-Cook Inlet Borough, Alaska, at age 49.^2,3 She Lifelong Alaskan Candace ''Candy'' J. Biesecker, 49, died peacefully April 6, 2002, at her home near Sterling from complications of multiple sclerosis. A memorial service was held at the Kenai Masonic Lodge in Soldotna. The Rev. Alan Humphries officiated. Burial was in the Cooper Landing Cemetery when the swallows return.

Mrs. Biesecker was born Nov. 8, 1952, in Indianapolis, Ind. She came to Alaska in 1954 with her family, and they homesteaded in Cooper Landing. She graduated from Kenai Central High School in 1970 and was valedictorian of her class when she graduated from Kenai Peninsula Community College in 1985. She was employed by the Log Cabin Gift Shop, Kenai Peninsula Borough and Enstar Natural Gas. She also helped her husband, Ed, start their business. Mrs. Biesecker was active for many years in the Tugi Club and Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, for which she was a past president. Her family wrote: ''The loves of her life were her family, friends and special companions who assisted, helped and loved her through the years. Candy faithfully anticipated and waited for the first tulips to pop through the frozen ground. Tulips, along with the return of the swallows, were her joys of spring.'' Mrs. Biesecker was preceded in death by her brother Tom.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; son, Trevor, and his fiance, Treena Schmidt; parents, John and Dorthy Ingram; brother, John; stepdaughters, Terri and Lori, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Alaska Shrine Temple, Travel Fund, 1930 E. Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage 99508 Arrangement were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel. on April 9, 2002.²

Mrs. Manning had been employed by Western State Hospital for 32 years, and was a member of the Verona United Methodist Church and the Staunton Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband and friend, James Lee Manning Sr; a son, James Lee Manning Jr; and granddaughter, Amy Michelle Graham. In addition to her mother of Braxton County, W.Va., she is survived by three daughters, Nancy Graham of Waynesboro, Judy Morris and husband, Ryland, of Franklinton, N.C., and Carol Stuart-Kosak and husband, Eddie, of Verona; four grandchildren, Kevin Graham and his fiancée Shawn Lambert, Tim Graham, Celeste of North Carolina, Jo Beth Stuart and Evan Stuart; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park. on February 22, 2006.²

     Douglas Earl Caracofe was buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 47 Round Hill School Road, New Hope, Augusta Co., Virginia.^4,5 He was born on December 5, 1952 at Norfolk, Virginia.^1,3,4,5 He married Judy Ann Manning, daughter of James Lee Manning and Peggy Mae Roberts, on August 10, 1972 at Augusta Co., Virginia.¹ Douglas Earl Caracofe and Judy Ann Manning were divorced on April 27, 1987 at Franklin Co., North Carolina.² Douglas Earl Caracofe died on March 7, 2019 at North Carolina at age 66.^4,5 He Douglas Earl Caracofe, 66, of Crimora, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, in NC due to an accident. Doug was born in Norfolk on December 5, 1952, son of the late Elsie (Barnette) and Nelson Caracofe. He worked as a truck driver for B&S Contracting and had served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed singing country music and telling good jokes. In Sept. of 1988, he was united in marriage to Angelia Gale (Jones) Caracofe, who survives. Doug is also survived by a daughter, Celeste Caracofe Crudup, Zabulon, NC; sister, Wanda Caracofe Fergusen of Staunton; brother, Ronnie Caracofe and wife, Kim, of Greenville, VA; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Lin Caracofe, and a brother-in-law, Carl Fergusen. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in New Hope. on March 8, 2019.⁴
