He was an excellent horseshoe player and also enjoyed card games. Mr. Lobdell was predeceased by his wife Grace Lobdell in 2002. Survivors include sons Barry, Lobdell of Saranac Lake, Greg Lobdell of Port St. Lucie, FL, daughter Vicki Couch of Colorado Springs, CO, step daughters Gail Swinburne of Oswego, NY and Marie Johnson of Stamford, CT and a stepson, Richard Johnson of Canastota, NY. A sister, Eleanor Hughes, lives in Phoenix, NY. on February 22, 2005.6

She was born December 1, 1932 a daughter of the late Sidney and Bessie Ada Oatley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Atkinson; daughter, Rhonda Weaver; grandson, Lee Atkinson; great-grandson, Brady Nininger; brother, Robert “Bobby” Oatley; daughter-in-law, Carol Atkinson; and son-in-law; Terry Barnett. Surviving are her children, Gordon Atkinson, Vicki Barnett, Sherrie Hammerstron, Charles Atkinson, Carl Atkinson (Janet), Jacob Atkinson (Donna) and Deris Atkinson (Brittany); 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard Oatley (Lily); sister-in-law, Verna Oatley; step-mother, Winnie Oatley; and a half-sister, Joan Blee (Pat). Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness and was highly respected by her church. Ginny showed compassion to everyone she met including strangers. Her hard work never went unnoticed. Rhonda is survived by her mother, Virginia Atkinson; two sons: Deris (Brittany) Atkinson, Shane (Ashley) Phillips, loving grandchildren: Kiersten (Justin) Stogner, Brett Atkinson, Ahmie Arriaga, Curtis Phillips, Roxanne Phillips, William Atkinson, her 1st great grand-child; Lennon Stogner, many siblings; Curtis Gordon Atkinson II, Charles Atkinson, Carl (Janet) Atkinson, Jacob (Donna) Atkinson, Sherrie Hammerstrom, Vicki Barnett, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by two very close friends, Madeline Harris, and Shawna Ferrin. Rhonda Lynn Weaver was born at Elsworth Airforce Base in South Dakota on July 18th, 1962. She graduated from Franklin County in 1980. Rhonda enjoyed horseback riding. She liked art and enjoyed spending time drawing and coloring. She liked spending time playing card games with family. Her favorite game was mad libs.
