     Cornelia Rebecca Boulding was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ She was born on April 16, 1932 at Roanoke, Virginia.^3,2,5 As of October 13, 1949,her married name was Saunders.³ She married Hubert Everette Saunders on October 13, 1949 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^6,7,8,5 Cornelia Rebecca Boulding died on March 25, 2020 at Virginia at age 87.⁷ She Cornelia Saunders, 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Hubert Saunders; and precious granddaughter, Jennifer Miles. Cornelia was a longtime member of Lynn Haven Baptist Church and loved her family and church family dearly. Cornelia is survived by daughters, Vickie Gordon and husband, Terry, and Libbye Taylor and husband, Mike. She is also survived by granddaughters, Christine Carroll and husband, Aaron, Melissa Welch, and grandson, Matt Miles. Great-grandchildren left to cherish her memory are Allie Carroll, Emily Carroll, Dylan Miles, Meghan Carroll, Jade Welch, Chase Miles, Darcy Welch, Laney Welch, and Lily Carroll as well as a host of nieces and nephews. on March 28, 2020.⁷

     Hubert Everette Saunders was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^3,4 He was born on January 10, 1930 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^1,2,4,5 He married Cornelia Rebecca Boulding, daughter of Elizabeth Mae Boulding, on October 13, 1949 at Bedford Co., Virginia.^1,6,3,4 Hubert Everette Saunders died on March 5, 2016 at Virginia at age 86.^3,4 He Hubert Everette Saunders, 86, of Vinton, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was a faithful member of Lynn Haven Baptist Church, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from N & W Railroad in 1992 and served in the 92nd Army "Red Devils" Battalion during the Korean War.He was predeceased by his parents, Hollie and Carrie Saunders; brothers, John Edgar and Haywood Saunders; sisters, Ellen Brown and Hazel Stevens, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Miles.Surviving family includes his wife of 66 years, Cornelia Boulding Saunders; daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Terry Gordon and Libbye and Mike Taylor; granddaughters, Christine Carroll and husband, Aaron, and Melissa Welch; grandsons, Matt Miles; ex-son-in-law, Larry Miles; and nine great-grandchildren.      Riley Lee Turpin was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, 1300 Mountain View Road, Vinton, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ He was born on May 5, 1941 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3,4 He married Brenda LaVon Hale on September 30, 1972 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^3,4 Riley Lee Turpin died on March 2, 2022 at Virginia at age 80.⁴ He Riley Lee Turpin, May 5, 1941 - March 2, 2022. Our beloved patriot, retired 1st Sergeant Riley Lee Turpin of Roanoke, Va., left this earthly world joining his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the age of 80. Riley was a benevolent man who loved fiercely and gave generously to his family and loved God and country. He was kind, loving, and an honest man. He enjoyed exercising, running miles every day. He often woke up early to go to the YMCA to work out at 5 a.m. and even went on his lunch time and again later the same day. He loved the Lord and was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church for many years. A true American Hero, he culminated over 40 years of active duty in our nation's military—the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and merchant Marine Corps. Riley was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on May 5, 1941, to the late Lewis William (Ben) Turpin and Frances Boulding Turpin. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws, Edd O. Hale Jr., and Lucille F. Hale. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Brenda Hale Turpin; brother, Edward W. Turpin and his family, David E. Turpin (Kristin) and LeEtta Turpin and her husband, Father James Detrich; his in-laws, Donald E. Hale (Gloria), Donald Dwayne Hale; Chandler Hale; Cindy Turner (Craig); and Caleb and Jacob Shockley. The family would like to give a special thank you to the many people who helped Brenda during this difficult time, especially Ray and Joyce Sarver, Charlie and Cheryl Turner, Dr. Chad DeMott and his staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion they gave to Riley; and to the many neighbors and friends for the thoughtful prayers who raised Riley up each day to his Lord.      Lynwood Earl Powers was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia.^4,6 His Social Security Number was 225-44-8562.⁷ He was born on October 14, 1935 at Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia.^7,2,5,6,8 He married Connie Ruth Hoskins, daughter of William Larren "Bill" Hoskins and Nina Marie "Nonnie" Adams, on August 13, 1960 at Chamblissburg, Bedford Co., Virginia.^1,9 Lynwood Earl Powers died on October 21, 1991 at Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia, at age 56.^2,4,6 He BEDFORD - Lynwood Earl Powers, age 56, died suddenly Monday, October 21, 1991. He was born in Bedford County on October 13, 1935, a son of Edna Johnson Powers, Bedford; and the late Auville Thomas Powers. He was a member of the Bedford Christian Church and was a co-owner of Buddy's Family Restaurant. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Connie H. Powers; two daughters, Tina Marie Powers, Bedford; Dana P. Manias, Virginia Beach; one brother, Thoams Henry Powers, Unionville; one granddaughter. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. on October 22, 1991.⁴

     Timothy Lee "Tim" McCoy was born on July 6, 1961 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ He married Jeanette Gail "Jeannie" Hoskins, daughter of William Larren "Bill" Hoskins and Nina Marie "Nonnie" Adams, on November 11, 2011 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2 Timothy Lee "Tim" McCoy died on March 20, 2016 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 54.³ He Master Deputy Timothy Lee (Tim) McCoy, 54, of Roanoke, Va., won his final earthly competition by defeating death; and, because of Jesus, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Albert McCoy; brother, Lawrence McCoy Jr. (Butch); and grandmother, Ruby Wells. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and Cardinal Criminal Justice Academy and was a Master Deputy for the Roanoke City Sheriff's Department for 16 years. He was an avid weightlifter and holds numerous weightlifting records in Virginia. Tim is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Jeannie) McCoy; mother, Shirley Wells McCoy; stepdaughter, Taylor Leginus and fiancé, Dylan Smith; stepson, Kaleb Leginus, and numerous other family including his brotherhood of law enforcement and family of weightlifters. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. William Fintel and the amazing staff and friends at Lewis-Gale Medical Center 6 West for their wonderful care of Tim. The family also shares their heartfelt appreciation for their law enforcement family, members of Life Church, Roanoke area businesses, and the Roanoke community for their prayers and overwhelming support during these difficult months. on March 23, 2016.³

He was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on May 10 1958 a son of the late Ulysses Manias and Chrysoula Lorandos Manias. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lynwood Powers. Peter retired in 1997 from the United States Navy with 20 years of service. He was employed by Advanced Logic Industries and an active member of Bedford Christian Church where he served as Elder, Youth Leader and Sunday School teacher. He loved coaching little league softball and basketball. Peter is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dana Powers Manias; two daughters, Shauna Saunders and husband, Stuart and Heather Manias of Bedford; his brothers, Angelos and Andrew Manias of New York; mother-in-law, Connie H. Powers; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Dave O'Hara all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. on August 27, 2012.²
