     Peggy Ann Selvey Peggy Ann Selvey Franklin (Gherke), 57, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley. Born on September 19, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Charles Boyd Selvey Jr. (1986) and Mildred Selvey Vernon (2008). Peggy was a lifetime member of Fayetteville Presbyterian Church. She was a 1977 graduate of Fayetteville High School, 1981 graduate of Fairmont State, and 1990 graduate of Marshall University. Peggy was a counselor and teacher for 35 years in WV and NC. For the last 15 years was employed by the Fayette County Board of Education. Teaching and counseling were her passion. She loved working and coaching children. She enjoyed all outdoor recreations and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Bernard Franklin of Rupert in 1988. Left to cherish many wonderful memories include her daughter, Whitney Ann Franklin of Fayetteville; three brothers: Charles B. Selvey III and wife Charlotte of Smoot, WV; David Selvey “The Favorite” and wife, Lisa of Greensboro, NC; and Chris Selvey and wife, Sherri of Fayetteville, WV; and six nephews; one niece; and one great-niece.⁴ Her married name was Franklin.⁴ She married Bernard Franklin.⁴ Peggy Ann Selvey was born on September 19, 1959 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^2,4 She died on January 15, 2017 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 57.⁴

     William Keith Hunt was buried at Hunt Family Cemetery, Victor, Fayette Co., West Virginia.² He William Keith Hunt, 90, of Victor passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at CAMC General Hospital. Born on January 11, 1930, he was the son the late Seth William Hunt and Lela Warren Hunt. Keith worked at Union Carbide/Elkem Metals for 42 years as a welder and retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a long time member of the Sunday Road Baptist Church. Keith loved farming and, more so, his Leaning “H” Farm. Over the course of 40 plus years he took pride in his multiple awards from Grassland Achievement excellence to Southern Soil Conservation District excellence awards and Farmer of the Year. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge #57 where he achieved the status of 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Adair (Epperly) Hunt. Surviving children, Scott (Julia) Spradlin of Chesterfield, Missouri and Angela (Gene) Krise of Fayetteville, WV; grandchildren Aaron and Hunter Krise of Fayetteville, WV and Sarah (David) Liu and Alexander Spradlin of Chesterfield, Missouri; one great grandchild, Maeve. He was a retired dispatcher for Southern Railways, Knoxville, Tenn., Division and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a Kentucky colonel and a member of the First Baptist Church in Charleston, Tenn. Surviving are one son, Scott L. Spradlin, Victor, W.Va; his mother, Mrs. Flora R. Spradlin, Norton; four brothers, Ben Spradlin, Norton, Bill Spradlin, Lawrenceburg, Tenn., Harold Spradlin, Powhatan, Va., and Wendell Spradlin, Cocoa, Fla. on August 28, 1981.³

     Her Social Security Number was 232-62-7464.³ Rosia Belle Prince was buried at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.¹ She was born on March 3, 1927 at Rock, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^3,1 As of February 2, 1948,her married name was Epperly.² She married Randolph Thomas Epperly Sr., son of Earl Oten Epperly and Mary Louise "Mollie" Moses, on February 2, 1948 at Lawrence Co., Ohio.^1,2 Rosia Belle Prince died on April 14, 2009 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 82.^3,1 She Rosia Belle Prince Epperly, 82, of Oak Hill, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at her home in Sherwood Place. Born March 13, 1927, at Rock, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John Mose Prince and Bessie Kinser Prince. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Wood. Rosia was a graduate of Spanishburg High School, Concord College, and attended Morris Harvey College. Rosia was a school teacher for Fayette County Schools for almost 40 years, having taught first and second grades at Cunard, Sanger, Summerlee, and last at Rosedale. She was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, having served in several capacities including supervisor of the Cradle Role, Bible School director, Board of Christian Education, and she taught primary Sunday School class for over 30 years. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 61 years, Randolph Thomas Epperly, Sr; her brother, David Prince and wife, Louise, of Herndon; sisters, Mae Nicholeson of Rock, Lucy Thompson of Chicago, Ill., and Goldie Grubb of Big Cove Tannery, Pa; her children, Randolph Epperly, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Oak Hill, John Epperly and wife, Clara, of Richmond, Va., and Dr. Michael Epperly and wife, Kathy, of Pittsburgh, Pa; grandchildren, Gordon Ray Gregory of Lancaster, Pa., Randy Epperly III of Oak Hill, Timothy Epperly of Prosperity, Rachel Epperly of Philadelphia, Pa., Laura Epperly of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Joey Epperly of Pittsburgh, Pa; and four great-grandchildren. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. on April 15, 2009.¹

     Arbutus Jenivee Crouch was buried at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.² Her Social Security Number was 236-30-6811.³ She was born on June 5, 1926 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.^3,2 As of July 23, 1950,her married name was Epperly.¹ She married Myles Epperly, son of Earl Oten Epperly and Mary Louise "Mollie" Moses, on July 23, 1950 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia.^1,2 Arbutus Jenivee Crouch died on August 2, 2011 at Ona, Cabell Co., West Virginia, at age 85.^3,2 She Arbutus Jenivee Crouch Epperly, 85, of Barboursville, W.Va., formerly of Oak Hill, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Midland Meadows Senior Living in Ona, W.Va. Born June 5, 1926 at Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Conway Crouch and Gertrude Mabel Wine Crouch McCoy. Mrs. Epperly was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. Her husband, Myles Epperly preceded her in death on July 30, 1985. She is survived by her twin sons, Robert Myles Epperly of Huntington and Richard Myles Epperly and wife, Mona of Milton and a grandson, Dustin Myles Epperly of Milton. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. on August 4, 2011.²
