Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Baron Tillman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Pat Roberson was born Aug. 15, 1933, in Shamrock to William and Vera Roberson. She grew up in Wellington and graduated from Wellington High School in 1950. Pat was a proud Wellington Skyrocket. She married Jimmie A. Graves on March 25, 1954. Pat was a switchboard operator for the telephone company. She loved tracing her family’s genealogy and heritage. Family was the most important thing in her life and remembering the family legacy. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Graves; a son-in-law, Mike Neie; and a sister, Marge Brown. Survivors include a son, Walter Allen “Walt” Graves and wife Sharon of Springtown; two daughters, Linda Kaye Neie of Amarillo and Stacy Ann Bueber and husband Alan of Kearney, Neb; her grandchildren, Lindsay Wright, Ashley Kruse, Michael Graves, Stephanie Sudderth, Roy Whittenburg III and Jim Whittenburg; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer’s Association, 415 S.W. Eighth Ave., Suite 300, Amarillo, TX 79101. The family will receive guests and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. on February 12, 2016.³

He was born October 28, 1933 in McLean to Allen and Allie Mae Graves. Graves married Patsy Roberson in 1954. He had lived in Ardmore five years, moving there from Amarillo. He was retired from Diamond Shamrock. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1951, and was also a graduate of Highland Park University in New Mexico. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in Korea. Survivors include his wife, of the home, Patsy Graves; one son, Walter Allen Graves of Fort Worth; two daughters, Linda Neie of Amarillo and Stacy Whittenburg of Folsom, NM; one sister, Barbara Tillman of Vinson, OK. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia White. on September 19, 1996.³

Mitchell was buried at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas.³ He was born on January 4, 1912.³ He married Mary Lois Roberson, daughter of Moses Lafayette Roberson and Luemma Josephine "Lou" Poff, on September 23, 1943 at Smith Co., Texas.^1,4 Raymond W.      Laudine Roberson was buried at Springfield Memorial Gardens, 7305 Main Street, Springfield, Lane Co., Oregon.⁵ She was born on September 28, 1920 at Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas.¹ As of July 4, 1941,her married name was Kersten.¹ She married Ervin Louis Kersten on July 4, 1941 at Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas.^2,1,6 Laudine Roberson died on January 2, 1965 at Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, at age 44.^1,7 She Mrs. Ervin Kersten of Springfield, Oregon, died in a Portland, Oregon hospital Saturday, January 2 at 8:30 a.m. She had been hospitalized since November 24. She and her family lived here until June 1957, when then moved to Oregon. Funeral services were conducted at Eugene, Oregon, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Kersten was the former Laudine Roberson, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Roberson, and was born here September 28, 1920. She was graduated from Wellington high school, and on July 4, 1941, was married to Ervin Kersten here. She is survived by her husband; a son and daughter, David and Deanna, both of the Springfield area, and one grandson, David Lewis Kersten, Jr. Other survivors are six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Raymond Mitchell and Otis Roberson of Wellington; Mrs. Ruby Riddle of Quanah; Loyd Roberson of Amarillo; Weldon Roberson of Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Loyd Langford of Pampa. on January 7, 1965.¹

He was born December 25, 1919 in Ashdown, AR to Fred and Willie Belle Kersten. He married Laudine Roberson in 1941. She died in 1965. He married Nancy Lee Hausman January 1, 1967. Kersten lived in Wellington before moving to Springfield. He moved to Crescent Lake in 1975 and to Eugene in 1996. He owned a welding business in Springfield, Oregon. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and welding. He was a member of Plumbers and Fitters Local No. 290. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Deanna Glenn of Springfield; a son, David, of West Linn; three step-daughters, Connie Dumas and Sandy Myers, both of Springfield and Paula Falk of Pleasant Hill; a step-son, Philip Hausman of Poulsbo, WA; a brother, Fred Kersten Jr., Livingston, TX; Three sisters, Hattie Mae Witaker of Houston; Merkie Darby of Springfield and Helen Gilbert of Veneta; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. on May 15, 1997.²

     Michael J. "Mike" Neie was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East I40 East, Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.² He was born on June 8, 1953.² He married Linda Kaye Graves, daughter of Jimmie Allen "Jim" Graves and Patsy Ruth "Pat" Roberson, on September 12, 1981.^1,2 Michael J.      Eben Michael "Mike" Burkhalter was born on December 8, 1900 at Wilbarger Co., Texas.¹ He married Ruby Beatrice Roberson, daughter of Moses Lafayette Roberson and Luemma Josephine "Lou" Poff, circa 1922.² Eben Michael "Mike" Burkhalter died on April 26, 1978 at Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at age 77.¹

     Joveta Myrl Burkhalter Joveta Myrl Stone age 86 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1924 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late Eben M. Burkhalter and Ruby Riddle. Joveta leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, four children: William M. (Margaret) Stone of Houston, Texas, Nancy Jo Rodgers of Corpus Christi, Lyndon R. (Marina) Stone of Humble, Texas and Suzie (Terry) Moench of Corpus Christi; one sister, Naomi Pape of Munday, Texas; six grandchildren: Stacy Nunn, Michael Stone, Billy Ray Rodgers, Terry Moench, Jr., Danny Stone and Charlie Moench; eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.¹ She was buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., Texas.⁵ Her married name was Stone.⁵ She married John C. "Jake" Stone was born in 1920 at Texas.¹ He died in 2001 at Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., Texas.¹

     Nancy Jo Stone Nancy Jo Rodgers, 69, passed away on July 30, 2016. She was born in Quanah, Tx to the late J.C. Stone and Joveta Burkhalter Stone. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents J.C. and Joveta Stone. Nancy Jo is survived by her children, Stacy Nunn (J.M.) and William Ray Rodgers (Tina); her siblings, Bill Stone (Margaret), Lyndon Stone (Marena), Suzie Moench (Terry); her grandchildren, Georgia and Jake Nunn, Shailynn, Lyndon, Christopher, and Victoria Rodgers; and numerous nieces and nephews.      Naomi Burkhalter was buried at Johnson Memorial Cemetery, Munday, Knox Co., Texas.^5,2 She was born on February 6, 1923 at Wellington, Collingsworth Co., Texas.^5,2 As of August 10, 1941,her married name was Pape.⁵ She married Frederick Wilhelm "Buster" Pape on August 10, 1941.⁵ Naomi Burkhalter died on July 19, 2015 at Munday, Knox Co., Texas, at age 92.² She Naomi Pape, 92, of Munday, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Knox County Hospital. She was born February 6, 1923 in Wellington, TX to Mike and Ruby Burkhalter. Naomi married Frederick Wilhelm Pape on August 10, 1941. Naomi was a member of the First Baptist Church for 65 years where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She also was a member and served several terms as president of the PTA. She was a member of Eastern Star for several years. Naomi was the bookkeeper for John Deer for many, many years but prior to that she worked at many different places including City Grill, Morton Wilborns, Beatys, Rexall and Dairy Treat. She also ran the Snack Shack. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Joveta Stone and one brother Jessie D. Burkhalter. She is survived by one son; Henry and wife Emma Jean Pape of Fort Worth, TX, two daughters; Frieda Brown and husband, Gene of Rhineland, TX, and Martha Pape of Munday, TX. Also, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery. on July 22, 2015.²
