     Juanita Catherine Jones was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² She Juanita Catherine Wertz, May 1, 1950 – Apr 15, 2025. Juanita C. Wertz, age 74 of Bedford County, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Juanita was born May 1, 1950 and was the daughter of Charles Archie Jones and Juanita Cora Gray. She was a graduate of Jefferson Senior High School, Class of 1968. After graduation Juanita worked at AT&T as a telephone operator, for the federal government, and at Kodak Photo Shops. She enjoyed camping with her family for many years. Juanita married John L. Wertz, Jr., who survives of the home. She is also survived by son Thomas M. Wertz (Teresa) of Bedford County, and daughter April D. Wertz of Greensboro, NC, and grandchildren Tabitha Lynn Wertz and Gwendolynn Dawn Wertz. She is also survived by her sisters Barbara Sattlewhite, Sherry Kendrick (Wade), and Dianna Bazzrea (John). Juanita was also survived by her dear friend, Ricky McDaniel and her precious pet Peanut. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their precious care of Juanita during her final illness. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² She was born on May 1, 1950 at Norfolk, Virginia.^1,2,3 As of March 30, 1968,her married name was Wertz.¹ She married John Louis Wertz Jr., son of John Louis Wertz Sr. and Hazel Josephine Carson, on March 30, 1968 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2 Juanita Catherine Jones died on April 15, 2025 at Virginia at age 74.²

     Robert Lee Long Robert "Bobby" Lee Long, 86 of Doswell, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Katie Long. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Daisy Mae Long; daughters, Elizabeth Jones (Chris), Susan Jolly (William); grandchildren, Dustin, Jessie, Jordan, Robbie, Amber; seven great-grandchildren; brother, David; sister, Dottie (Richard). Bobby was a faithful Christian and loved his Lord. He was a beloved husband, dad ("He was the greatest dad in the world"), and grandfather who loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to garden (especially riding his grandchildren around on the tractor) and cook. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.³ He was buried at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Tuckahoe, Henrico Co., Virginia.³ He was born on January 8, 1936 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 He married Daisy Mae/May Weeks on October 11, 1958 at Craigsville, Augusta Co., Virginia.¹ Robert Lee Long died on November 30, 2022 at Virginia at age 86.³

     Roy Barger Wertz Jr. was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on October 26, 1952 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2 He died on October 30, 1952 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹
