Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, with the Rev. Rex Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Elk Funeral Home, Charleston, is in charge of arrangements. on November 2, 2003.3

She is survived by her loving husband Malcolm, to whom she was married for over 70 years, son Thomas Beard and wife Joyce, her brother Joe Harrison Moreau and wife Anne, sisters; Norma Jeanne Stewart and husband Milo, Betty Haskell and husband James, and sister-in-law Helen Moreau. She has three grandchildren, Kenneth Beard (Megan), Jacqueline Marshall (Douglas), both of Tampa, Jordan Touchstone of Lake Butler; step grandson, Brian Easley (Lynn) of Auburndale, and step granddaughters Christina Farrier (Jeff) of Palm Harbor and Carrie Rozmeski of Wesley Chapel, as well as ten great grandchildren (Jaylen, Kylie, Myla, Avery, Malcolm, Emma, Adeline, Elize, Alexander and Kanten). She was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, with a post graduate year in business and attended the University of South Florida. Mrs. Beard was a 56-year member of the First Christian Church of Tampa. She was active in the Golden Band Class and in many church circles throughout the church. She was a longtime participant in the Tampa Junior Woman’s Club, the Tampa Woman’s Club, the 39er’s Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was currently a member of Lake Magdalene Methodist Church. Graveside Service at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.2 She was buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Hillsborough Co., Florida.2 She was born on July 20, 1920 at Fayette Co., West Virginia.1,2 As of May 1, 1940,her married name was Mullins.1 She married Robert Alvin Mullins, son of Robert Lee Mullins and Julia Abiah Strickler, on May 1, 1940 at Bland Co., Virginia.1 Mary Ellen Moreau died on October 21, 2018 at Florida at age 98.2
